The KittIDES of March!!

Many thanks to our pal Sparky for hosting this fun event.  We hope he doesn't mind that we're using his graphic but it was adorable and purrfect for this event!!!

We, of course, would NEVER be plotting anything...nope...not us.....

Well.....maybe once in a while we plot against he woofies and Mom.  Like here....Hey Clifford...look over there..are those treats?   Hehehe....okay....now I'VE got the cushy bed and toys!!

Grace is VERY thankful!

Just in case, there's anyone around who doesn't know, Grace is Marigold and Mr Brutus's mommacat! She is VERY thankful to know that all three Royals now have new homes and are settling in.

update on Seville

Hey all!  Nissy here...

Jan suggested I give everyone an update on my brother, Seville, and I thought it was a super-duper great idea.  So here's the scoop...

Sivvers is doin' much better.  He can pee again and pee well.  Big strong streamies in the litter box.  YAY!

But the doctor says he's always gonna be prone these pee-pee problems so he's supposed to be on a special diet.  Well, the peeps got him the food he needs but every chance he gets, he's into ours.  He simply refuses to eat the special soft so the peeps have given up on that.  He'll eat the human tuna but only the first servin' out of every tin.  That's workin' out well for us 'cause we get the leftovers.  YUM!  He seems to like the special dry but the peeps have to watch him like a hawk 'cause if he gets the opportunity to have our dry, he's into it in a flash.  He's a trickster, for sure.

The peep tried really hard to get the Cystease or Cystaid that so many UK cats use for crystals but they won't let the stuff into Canada.  MOUSES!  Stupid Canadian customs.  Anywho...  my pal Stan - you know, the tuxedo cat who ran for Mayor of HRM - helped out.  His peeps are doctors although I think his dad might have retired.  Stan's dad suggested another product that has a different form of the same active ingredient that's in the Cystease.  This one, is available in Canada.  The peeps got a bottle and Sivvers gets a pill every afternoon.  Even though the pills are made for cats, they're peep-sized.  Huge!  But Sivvers is a real mancat and is takin' 'em like the dude he is.

First Big Winter Storm This Year

Our first winter storm on this season hit us last night.

We have had several storm warnings all year long with the snow but the storms always went to the north or south of us leaving us with little snowfall this year. But yesterday the weathermen were correct and our city had a snowfall of 10 l/2". We did have some good high winds so there is drifing. It really is beautiful. Mom always likes one big storm then she says now get us to spring. We can now look forward to spring around the corner and enjoy the beaufitul sights of winter while we wait.

How nice that the mom brought some of the white stuff that is covering our yard into the house for me to check out. I don't understand why the mom and dad don't realize that things are so different outside this morning. They just act like it is another average day. Don't they see that everything is white?! What the heck.

 

This is the first time the mom brought the white stuff inside for me to check out. I really liked tasting it, was nice and cold. I do have to mention and don't really like to point fingers but the mom or the dad are not honest. You see I went back to eat more of my snow and it was gone. Now there are only three of us here and let's just say I didn't take it. Of all the nerve! I am going to keep a close eye on them to make sure nothing else of mine disappeared.

 

This snow stuff will be nice in the summer when everyone is outside and gets thirsty. They won't have to come inside to make a cold drink. Pretty cleaver huh?

 

Stay safe and warm today if you are in the snow storm stuff.

Grace's squillion ... and her joy!

Grace is also VERY happy this morning because two of her babies will be adopted by Laura in Massachusetts. They are Brutus and Marigold, who lived with Rose since they were about 2 months old. 

We are all celebrating Laura's magnificent decision!

Good afternoon.
Mom asked me to send you both an email with an update on her status. All went well. She us currently resting in recovery. We should be able to go see her in an hour or so.

Hi all....

I wanted to remind all our friends, Tabby or not, that there are a couple of great events coming up this week.

Thursday, 2/28 is Squillions Day!  If you've adopted a VSquillion from the CB VSquillion shelter, you might want to show them off on that day.  As you know, our own Gracie is the Shelter Keeper.  It's also the last day to adopt for a while.

Another fun event is Dr Seuss Day!  We can't wait to see what our friends post.  Again, this isn't a Tabby Cat Club Event but we think it will be fun.  Dr. Seuss Day is Friday, March 1.

Last, but closest to my heart, is the Wedding of my sisfur Angel Sniffie and Angel Nimbus on Thursday 2/28.  All are invited to attend.  Angel Sniffie went to the Bridge long before I was born, but I've heard wonderful things about her.  There is a special blog just for their wedding...  Sniffie and Nimbus Wedding Blog.  Gracie is the Wedding Planner Extraordinaire for the event so you know it will be wonderful!

We also want to ask you to send some purrs and prayers to Gracie's Mommy. She's having surgery today and will have to stay overnight.  We know Gracie will miss her and need to spend some time nursing her back to health when she gets home.

My mommie is having surgery on Wednesday and we could use the good thoughts and purrs. We all know the purrs help. Mom will be spending the night at the hospital and when she comes home I will be in charge of giving lots of loves and snuggles.
