Resolution Fails

Lexi: Well weez nawt mayk rezolooshunz and didunt pozt on rezolooshun day. Partlee cuz weez doent mayk 'em and partlee cuz mommy wuz layzee and furgawdid. MOL Soz heer weez arr still nawt maykin' anee or braykin' anee. 

Dezi: Nope Lexi we didn't make any, but ifin we had it'd been to spwead more luv this year than we did last year. Weez officially been in social media now fur a little over a year and will be celebwatin' meez 1st year of bloggin' soon. So weez hopin' to make more peeps smile this year and hav even more fun.

Lexi: Yep Dezi weez lernd a lawt in da lazt year and soz habz mommy. We shur hoep dat weez kin beez better kitteez and mommy kin beez a better peep diz year. How am I doing?

Well a picture is worth a thousand words.

 

Try as I might I just cannot help myself.

I just get mixed messages from the folksI

 

 

Sometimes they let me be up there and take my photo then mom will tell me I have to get down. She will gently pick me up and give me a kiss on the top of my head and gently put me on the floor. If the view isn't great enough I sure love those kisses. I have noticed when she is cooking she isn't as well . . . how should I say this . . . not as patient . . . she will say get down . . . I look at her . . . she looks at me . . . then she will come over and gently put me down on the floor . . . hummmmm no kiss. I am thinking maybe I should not be on the counter maybe while she is cooking. But there is just too much to see. Oh well she and I will continue to work on this.

 

 

Broken Resolutions(?) by Marty and Ralphie

Well,  we are, a month out from our New Year's Resolutions.

Here is a peek of how things are going.

Here, I Ralphie, am giving Anne the stink eye, making sure she looks nicely groomed.

I think I have been doing a good job.

Mom says this is what she sees from her lap most of the time. MOST of the time....that is not ALL of the time....I think I (Marty) am doing better at sharing Mom's lap....

So how are you all doing on your resolutions?

Hope you are doing better MOST of the time. Not like some over achieving brother I know!

Did I Keep My Resolution??

Good question!   I'd like to say "ABSOLUTELY" but in all honestly I have to say "SORT OF".    I really wanted to turn things around and always take my medicine like a man (mancat of course) but I'm afraid some days I simply DO NOT WANT IT.

It's good that I'm cute because Mom can't get mad at me when I'm cute!

Other days though I'm good as gold and take it so Mom thinks (and we believe our vet will confirm on my next check which is this month) that I'm getting ENOUGH of the medication to keep my thyroid in the normal range.   Even if I don't have ALL the pill EVERY day, maybe I'm in the "GETTING ENOUGH" category.   Wouldn't that be grand?

I'll eat my yogurt no matter WHAT flavor it is Mom!

SO - did I keep my resolution to be better about taking my pill every day?   The answer is "PRETTY MUCH"....................

Does that count???   Gosh I hope so........Thanks to our Host, Miss Gracie,  for making us "report in" on how well we did on our Resolutions so far this year!!

Broken resolutions?

Remember my New Year's Resolutions that I shared HERE?

Well I've kind of kept them.   As you can see my sisfur Allie STILL thinks my head tastes like chick-hen....

I'm doing my best to be a good sport about it.

I've also been good and having torn up any other treat bags (or at least any that Mom has found) BUTTTTT......I deaded a lizard and left it as a present for Dad.....Mom says I need to work on that for next year.
