| Today is the day we strive to educate people on the need to responsibly care for our community cats. That's right Timmy, please support your local Rescue or Shelter and TNR groups! We support Blind Cat Rescue, Kitty Cottage, Tabby's Place and Alley Cat Allies. PS Blind Cat Rescue is having a Raffle with Great Prizes. |
Sponsored by Alley Cat Allies here is some information on Global Cat Day
All cats deserve the chance to live but some simply aren’t given the opportunity.
Today, you can do something about that…Thousands of animal shelters have outdated policies that result in millions of cats and kittens being killed each year by the institutions that should be saving them.
Together, we can stop this. These helpless animals are being killed simply because they do not have anyone to stand up for them.
With Global Cat Day® coming on October 16, there is a limited-time opportunity to come together as a community of advocates to put an end to this atrocity.

We hope that this day brings awareness to the needs of shelter cats. We're both lucky to have been rescued and never had to live in a shelter but we know it's not a good place to be. We're very thankful for our wonderful home.
EEEEEEK! (is that a word??)
Happy Almost Halloween, Teddy

Hey everyone. Don't forget that this is TockTober! Time to amember my late, grate brofur Derby and his birthday on the 20th.
How do you do that? Well, it is time for your beans to find or take some new pictures of your backside, hiney, a$$, or whatever you want to call it. So be prepared for the 20th. Mum will be working on getting new pics of me too!
IT's a BIG Day for Pets!
Today, the entire world will share the importance of pet adoption, and shine a light on all orphan pets waiting in shelters and rescues. In 2017, people using #RememberMeThursday reached nearly 330 million people on social media. That's how wide the arms of love and caring stretch all the way around the world.
This is because many people DO care and are actively working for the better.
Visit https://remembermethursday.org/about/ today and learn how YOU can help. If we all pitch in - miracles can happen!

Happy Cat Month! What is that exactly? It's a whole month dedicated to US and keeping us Happy and Healthy. Pretty cool huh?
Our human companions help us keep happy by taking us to the vet when we should be going, feeding us the kind of food that's good for us, and of course LOVING US! Those things sure make ME happy.
I'm lucky because my Mom and Dad really do everything they can to allow me to enjoy my life with them and stay here with them for as long as I am able. I'll turn five years old next March and if I stay THIS Happy - I hope to be around for a very long time to come.
This cat is showing us what HAPPY looks like for him! Pretty darn happy right?
I hope you are as HAPPY as I am.............................!
