And when it broek, faynkz Dezi, I'z wuz a bit sad. Shur I'z had da nip nanner, nip sigar, and lawtz ov udder grayt toyz, but minez cat'z meow wuz gawn furebber I'z fawt. But din wun day sum pawzum furiendz sent me, not Dezi and me, but jiz me a brand nu Cat'z Meow. Awl minez berry own. Okay, I'z shared wiv Dezi, but she noez it'z awl minez. ☺

Hello everyone! What a fun topic, Gracie! And I love what you did with the blog! Well, after I first moved in my best friend was Brown Mousie.

I took him everywhere with me! These days I usually play with with my string, or the cat dancer toy. But Brown Mousie will always be special.

No home or kittie should be without this wonder fun toy!!

It is a caterpillar filled with catnip. I pretend that my caterpillar is a snack and I am a great hunter.
I love smelling the nip inside . . .

. . . I start to feel a little friskie and then I start to slap my snake around, he doesn't mind . . .

. . .then I start to get lovie and give some hugs to my snake . . .

. . . when play time is over then it is time to rest.

Toys Are COOL!

Well, I say it's NEVER too late to share a toy.....right?    So I'm gonna show you my very favorite toy although I have to admit I've had MANY "favorites" through my almost-sixteen years.  This remains my favorite and it's something my Dad bought me some years ago which I use for my "toy box" !

It's the smallest wagon EVER but just my size.  I have a lot of my toys in it although I must admit, Mom now has a "secondary toy" basket next to it because the wagon was overflowing!   There in front is a cat bank where I get to store all the pennies I find lying on the floor.  If it's on the floor it's MINE......that's a cat rule isn't it?

Thanks Gracie for hostessing this fun event............I admit I don't play much with toys any longer but that wagon is really FUN to have......now if I can just get Mom to help me clean it out!

Sorry I'm late with this post.....Mom and Dad have been so busy with Dad's appointments and it totally slipped through the cracks.

My favorite toy is a mousie that I won from a contest my pal Sammy had. It has dangling legs and arms and I love to play fetch with it!!

NOMS Day by Simba

I am going to mostly copy my post from my own blog to here for NOMS Day.

Today is NOMS Day, a day to celebrate our other species friends and encourage tolerance and friendship.    Thanks to The Cat Realm for the great badge!        Here at our house, I am the only inside pet, but outside we have bird feeders that attract a lot of birds, even a hummingbird feeder that has frequent visits from one female hummingbird.   She is SO fast, I have no picture.   Then we have chipmunks running around our stone wall, and even a woodchuck who visits quite a lot.  Yup, no pictures.  

However, the most exciting visitors this summer have been the deer - it is hard to call them VISHUS deer, because the little ones are so cute.      The main visitors we see are two different mamas, one with a single fawn and another with twins.   Dad thinks the younger Mom of the singleton is the daughter of the other one.     Here are some pictures:

Inside the house, I have to be satisfied with some very quiet NOMS friends, like Mr/Miss seal here:

N.O.M.S Day at the TCC

Hi evfurry..it's me Dinnermintz and guess what today is a super day..we get to talk about NOMS...

Oh sorry...i almost forgot myself when i heard the word NOMS...MOL...

So Pickles and i are super proud to celebrate the Not of My Species animals we share our lives with..so here we go evfurry...smile for the nice kitties at TCC Doc...

This is Doc ..he is 13 in October..he really gets bugged when i smooch him ..MOL...but i love him..

Smile for the nice kitties Forrest..this is Forrest..i love love love him and he loves me..tomorrow he is 12 years old..Happy Birthday Forrest..

Smile Jock come on! this is Jock he is a suffolk sheep..he is 9 years old and i really love him too!

Smile Oscar..this is Oscar and i really love him too..he is a Merino sheep and he is also my friend..

This is Felix..smile for the nice kitties Felix..he is a Merino Corriedale cross sheep..i live him too...but he runs away from me MOL....

So there we have all the N.O.M.S that we live with..it's a lot!

And we all really help make our home a happy and healthy place.
