Grace rarely sleeps with me at night, but one of her boys must have taken over her bed in the TV room, so she came to me to keep warm. Funny, purry girl!
From one Grace to another take it from me sleeping in the bed with the folks is the bestest place to be. I sleep right in the middle and get the warmth from both of them. Plus I get double rubs and scratches from them when they are awake. Plus you can also go under the blankets if you really get cold.
You commented about cats in bookstores and Julie loves that, too. But, the folks she talked to don't have their cats there because they would run off when the door opened.
I think I would probably do that, too. Unless a patron was reading a Tale, that is, hehe!
Yes, indeed, as the temps have dipped, lotsa snuggling has been going on at our house, too. Especially by one tabby lady who parks herself in the middle of my chest in the wee hours... causing me to awaken, wondering why I can't breathe! LOL!

We think Grace likes to sleep with her mom because she knows that's the best way to stay warm. Probably helps mom to stay warm too!
