It's 2024 and a new start. Mommy is on Social Security and is bored silly with nothing to do and all day to do it. The weather is rotten, cold, snowy, rainy and gloomy. I am doing just fine and dandy.
I'm so sorry to hear this. In spite of the weather, could your mommy get out and volunteer somewhere? Get to a library? Find a way to use whatever talent she used when she was working to help people? Sometimes even a crazy idea works out and sparks something new.
Yeah, mum had stuff lined up to do once she stopped day hunting. She went off to visit family for more than a quick visit; drove by car to places seeing stuff she never had time to stop and see; volunteered at the library and also the food pantry. Nice lunches with other retired furiends. Time to work in the yard, read books and crow-shay!
Phew, makes me tired just thinking about all of this!

That sums up how things are in our very very very fine house.
