Snuggling with Mum

Hi evfurry sorry we missed yesterday and Raz's great event..but woo hoo he has made it last another day...which as a finickity Gingerbread lady i say is great..for Mum...
See i am not a huge lap cat..i prefer to sidle up to Mum..you know realy close..but on the lap is rare..so rare she has to capture the event everytime no matter how bad the shot no matter if it is on her phone...

Snoozing With My Human!

Oh this is a fun day to celebrate at the Tabby Cat Club - brilliant idea Raz!   My favorite all time place to have a snooze is ON/BY/NEAR my Mom.   What about Dad you ask?  Well, when I was a BABY I'd snooze with him but only for about the first year - he never stayed as STILL as my Mom did when I was snoozing with her..........I like STILL !!

There's no place like a lap for a nap!!

 

Enjoy some snoozes with your humans - they're better than a heating pad and there's no safer place in the world to be.................

Me and Fitz would like to thank Raz for hosting this great event: Napping with Mom/Dad.
You have that right Timmy. There is nothing better for a cat than taking a Nap and when you add in being with your Mom or Dad, well... heaven.

I nap with Dad after work on the Cat Lounger. Dad calls it his couch but we furs know better. I like laying against Dad's leg.

Today I’m sharing a post I rerun every year. My Pop and his friend worked a mere four blocks from the World Trade Center the day it was attacked. They witnessed the second plane as it passed their office window and flew directly into the South Tower. They share their memory of that most tragic day. It’s a long post but it’s so important to Never Forget.

Happy Labor Day

Another human holiday is upon us furries. I have decided to take the holiday time and hide, I mean hang out, in mom and dad's bedroom as the grand beans are here.

I do love the grandbean sooooo much but the three year old little one makes a lot of noise plus he doesn't always close the outside door to the house. Mom puts me in lock down so I hide under the bed when the little one finds me.

Labor(?) Day

Pfft. I shall not be laboring today. That is mum's job to labor, bring home green papers and keep me in style. 

I will be enjoying my pod, napping lots and getting noms from mum. I am sure she will cook something nice later. She has cooked this weekend. Tried fancy green beans on the grill, but the chick-hen was from the deli.

 Lots of garlic on them beans, mum loves to use garlic. Glad I don't have to kiss her!

Today she made ooey, gooey goodness. Mini caramel rolls.

Other than that, we are both taking it easy. Mum says it is too humid and hot outside to to any work. She will be reading a book. Oh good, then I can go sit on her.

It is cloudy here, but we are going to be spending lots of time on our beloved sunporch as  always.

Mom got me a new box this morning to play with.

Happy Labor Day

Well my human and I will not be laboring today.  Mostly just napping or watching tv.  Sorry I haven't been around much here in the club.  My human had to take over the puter for her classes at school.

This blankie was a christmas gift for my human.  It is on top of the recliner.  As you can see, I comandeered it and use it for napping.

Labor Day Fun

Honestly my Labor Day will be spent NOT laboring..............in fact, I will be a total BUM.   I'll hang out around the house..........maybe spend some time on the front porch......

 

I'll probably go outside in the yard with Mom to enjoy some fresh air............

Might take a snooze in a comfy spot in the house.................

 

 

One thing I won't be doing is PARTY-ING !    Nope - we usually have a super quiet Labor Day here and I'm counting on it being like that ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL weekend! 

Hope you enjoy yours too!  Alone OR with a group......it will be a nice long weekend.
