A Tabby Cat features stripes, dots, lines or swirling patterns, usually with an "M" mark on forehead. The tabby is not a breed but a color pattern - most often stripes, but sometimes stripes and whorls, or even spots and stripes. The tabby pattern is so popular that it can be found in many pedigreed cats today, and is accepted in a number of breeds by the most popular registries.
Styx: You know what? I have already completed one of my new year resolutions....to find a home!! This wild success must continue! I guess I should make another resolution. Ms. C is giving me some advice, she says I should resolve to be spayed ASAP. She says I won't like it, but that I will be much happier afterwards. Ms. C is looking into low-cost spay/neuter clinics in the area, but they are all so far away. We have a local vet we trust very much, but it looks like it will have to wait until next month, unless any of you can help. And I have already started yowling a bit . . . If you can help, check out this link: http://spaystyx.chipin.com/styx-the-cats-spaying
Edit: The ChipIn is still going, and thanks to some generous contributors, we've moved the spay-date to Jan. 22nd! After that we're going to have a PARTY.
Abby Normal: My resolution is to sleep with Ms. C and persuade her to sleep as much as possible. Also, not to let the new one get my hackles up. I think that is going to be a big task so that's all I'm trying for.
