Veterans Day

Grace has learned about our family's veterans plus two who are in the military right now. It's quite a list!

My dad, Army in WWII, Europe
One uncle, Army in WWII, Pacific
One uncle, Navy in WWII, Pacific
One uncle, Air Force in Korea
My brother, Marines
One brother-in-law, Army, Vietnam
One brother-in-law, Navy, Vietnam
One cousin and her husband, Navy
My son, Naval Academy, then Navy
My son-in-law, Army
My cousin's sons, Marines and Navy
One grandson, Texas National Guard, now
One granddaughter, AF ROTC in high school

I wish I had all the photos on my computer. I have two, though.

My son (right) and his USNA roommate, running the Marine Corps Marathon in DC about 1990.

My grandson, during National Guard training this past summer.

Grace and I are very thankful for ALL our veterans, as well as those currently serving in our country's military. We love 'em all!!

Thank you, everyone! We are very proud of the vets in our family, needless to say, and it's always amazing to me when I list or name them all. Grace appreciated the lessons she learned while putting this post together! =)
