Timmy and Fitz Movember

Hi Furends:

The whole Tomcat Furmaly supports Movember to remind men about testicular and prostate cancer. Our Dad is a Nursy Man so told us how very important this is. He does his checks and has a yearly physical by his doctor. His facial hair is not nearly as nice as my and Fitz's Moustaches.

Me First as I love my Pink Moustache!

I have to admit I like the way it saves the flavor
of my favorite Noms!

Remind you Dads and all the guys in your families to remember to talk to their doctors about this and have a yearly check.

Purrchance To Movember

Hello, my name is Sonora Pepper and I'm your host for today's Movember event here at The Tabby Cat Club!  We hope you're sporting your favorite fake 'stache today here at the TCC, and would like to remind everyone the meaning behind Movember.  It's a month-long event, like October is for breast cancer awareness, to promote testicular and prostate cancer awareness during the month of November.  Hope your Movember is stache-tastic!

PS ~ you can see more of the tabbies from Purrchance To Dream over on our blog today, too!

Movember Reminder

Tomorrow is Movember 18th, and here at the Tabby Cat Club, we're going to have fun with Movember by showing off some 'staches.

If you haven't used PicMonkey, it's a very easy online photoshopping software.
You go to PicMonkey, and click on 'edit a photo' - upload a photo of your tabby cat with a good facial image.
On the left side of the screen - see the butterfly? Click on that.
Scroll down to 'facial hair' - click on whichever mustache tickles your fancy.
It will show up as black on the overlay, but you can change the color.
Make sure to SAVE your image (it's on the top of the PicMonkey page).
Then add your picture here at the Tabby Cat Club in a post on Monday November, er I mean, Movember 18th!
You can see that even girl kitties like me like to have some stache-tastic fun, once in a while!

Miss Fitz and Timmy's Poor Pathetic Dad

Hi Furends:

Thanks for hosting Oui Oui! Fitz you go furst.

OK Timmy! Meow. Dad is such a lunk. He knows we all eat Pate but keeps bringing home the wrong kind of food. BY THE CASE! MOL!

I always have to put my foot down with Dad.
Take it away Timmy!

Thanks Fitz. Dad knows we never go out. Especially me. I don't even go down the stairs. But if I am not right there. Well, he starts looking all over, here, there, everywhere. Of course I am always where he checks last, under the couch! MOL. Fitz...

He is always late. Late with our special events. Late with everything. Tim...

He furgot my birthday this year! Can you Imagine!

Yeah, my birthday, fa-get-aboud-it.  He got my Gotcha this year as it is the same as Buttons and right after new years.

Pathetic Miss Fitz!

You got that right Timmy, Pathetic!

My Pathetic Parents

I want to thank Oui Oui for hosting this fun event. I am hoping that maybe the my folks will see my post and take notes today.

Please, don't get me wrong. I love my parents dearly but sometimes there are problems that I feel need to be addressed. I don't like to complain about them because after all the daddie was first to feed me when I was a starving kittie wandering around outside trying to fend for myself when I was only six months old . . . I have a wonderful furever home . . . except . . . well . . .

. . . there are several things that my pathetic parents do but at the top of my list involves my food bowl.

Do you see the problem here!? Look closer . . . you can see the bottom of my food bowl, yes! Oh I do not like that at all!! I start to get worried that I will run out!!! I wonder if I should eat what is left or should I ration it out making it last?!

. . . OMC! There is so little food in my bowl that I can actually count what is left. This is my danger zone and totally unacceptable! When this happens I run to the folks to let them know! They seem not to be able to understand or are too busy to see what I am trying to tell them. I find them in the house and when they notice me I run to the kitchen and stand by my bowl, and if I am really upset I will meooowww so loud. This is more stress than a cat should ever have!!!

Now this is a photo of how I would like my food bowl to be at all times but that only happens when they are going out of town for an overnight or long weekend. I don't understand why my bowl cannot always be this full. It would keep me from much unwanted stress. Oh if only my pathetic parents would figure this out . . . I will say that since I have have lived inside with them that I never have run out of my food but I have come close . . . I can only keep hoping and trying to let them know to please keep my food bowl well supplied.

ps: Mom & Dad if you are reading this ignore the complaining part but pay close attention to the KEEPING OF THE FOOD BOWL ALWAYS FULL . . . sorry for yelling, I couldn't help myself.

My Pathetic Mom-person

My Pathetic Mom-person is just
sooooo hopeless when it comes to help me with
fun event´s.
She is ALWAY´s help me in the last minute *sigh*
and it makes me feel
soooo embarrassed

Sweet Gracie invited me to join The Catscout´s
and become a member of
Worldwide Wildcats Troop.

I`m afraid I will be the cat with
least badges in the
Catscout history ,
because my mom-person is
a real slacker *sigh*

Poor Pathetic Mom

I am thinking hard which of the mom's silly things I should tell you about.  When she writes and puts the pen down, in the flash of an eye, the pen is lost!  She can't find it, she hasn't moved, but where did it go?  Ok, this happens enough to be common place.

A couple months ago she noticed kitties were wishing Julie and Carl a Happy Gotcha day, and the mom was, "Huh?  What's this?"  Totally clueless!  Kitties from around the world remembered, but not her.  Ok, we all know she doesn't remember like she used to.

But maybe the funniest happened earlier this year.  The furnace conked out and an introoder came to fix it.  Being smart kitties, we scattered.  After he left, kitties started showing up, one by one.  All except for me.  Hours later, she started searching but I didn't answer.  She walked right past me several times.  I didn't let on.  Why ruin a good hiding place?

Finally, even though she was fairly sure she had been careful and I was inside the house, she went outside to call me.  With all the neighbors out, she starting calling, "Mew, mew, Oui Oui!"  (There's no "Here kitty, kitty" in our house!)

Naturally, most of the neighbors were outside, not at a restaurant or movie enjoying themselves like they should have been.  Having Mew Mew Oui Oui'd her way around in every direction so as to convince as many people as possible how nuts she is, she went back inside.  If they thought she might be a crazy cat lady, here was proof!   Maybe a few thought she is a psychotic, not crazy, cat lady.

It made for a good laugh later and when we kitties had laughed ourselves out, I showed up, like nothing had happened.

Thanks to all kitties who participated!

"My Pathetic Parents" by Socks

"My Pathetic Parents Mommy" I had to retitled it my Daddy isn't pathetic but Mommy is pathetic enough for like a zillion parents. There was the time she mistook a wild rabbit for me, then there was the time she nearly fell off the board she was sitting on because she couldn't find me and I was sitting right under her (that was funny), and then there was the time that .....................................

er I have been informed that IF I don't cease tattling on my Mommy's patheticness  she will cease feeding me so I thinks I has a sudden case of amnesia.

My Pathetic Parents by Raz

Today's event is My Pathetic Parents is hosted by Oui Oui.

There aren't enough hours in the day to describe all the pathetic things my parents do.  Well, most of the pathetic stuff is done by Mom.  Dad's pretty good but does one thing....he moves me off of his computer desk chair.  Look at how he carries me....
Hey Dad.....I'm going to barf if you carry me upside down like this!

Mom is pathetic too.....she does so many goofy things!!  This is an example.  I'm trying to relax on her lap but she looks like she's strangling me!

Hey....let me out of here!!!!

Thanks to Oui Oui for hosting this fun event.  I could go on and on but I figure you want to read about all the other pathetic parents!!

My Pathetic Parents Event

Ode to those whose antics amuse us the most, "My Pathetic Parents".  They are so well meaning and love us so, but they do the silliest things!  Come and read about their comical high jinks, it should be an entertaining time.  Any kitty is welcome to join in the fun with us by posting at their blog and linking to the TCC. by Oui Oui

Honoring Our Veterans

Giving thanks to all our veterans who are serving and served protecting our wonderful nation, especially my Daddie. He served in the army at the Joint Security Area in Korea as a Military Police Officer. Back in the old days our country had what was called the draft. Our country was involved with an unpopluar, though I think most would agree that all wars are unpopular but this one was especially bad, war and needed men to serve in the military. Dad was all signed up to go to college but he was drafted and had to go away from my mommie soon after they were married, they had to be seperated for a long time.

One night when my daddie had to go on patrol an angel was sitting on his shoulder and his life was spared when a terrible thing happened, four others were not so lucky that day. Four of our servicemen and friends of my daddie paid the ultimate price. To this day our family remembers that day and our heart is still heavy with sadness for those that were taken. Each and every day we are thankful that my daddie returned safely home.

There are no words that can truly say how much these brave men and woman are. To all our veterans that have served, are serving, and those now up in heaven I send you all a big THANK YOU!

Movember at the Tabby Cat Club on the 18th

Just like October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, November highlights testicular cancer and prostate cancer for men with a movement called Movember.  During this Movember movement, people are encouraged to grow mustaches to show their support.

Downton Tabby Time

Sammy, Earl of Kimmell, prepares to leave his estate for Downton to join in the festivities of the day!"

Downton Tabby Day

Welcome to our first ever Downton Tabby Day, so glad that you could come.

What an exciting day as we gather and plan to spend the day at the castle. My dear friend Liz aka Queen Elizabeth decided to take time out of her busy schedule and enjoy the activities here. As you can see we spent some time outside gretting our many guests that came today . . .

. . . now it was time to get a little snack before we headed inside for a little rest . . .

. . . after a much needed rest and a clothes change Liz and I spent sometime alone together in the parlor at the castle and had tea. It was a great time to catch up on gossip and also discuss the gala that was being held tonight in her honor. Everyone is invited to that and I think we will all have a great time . . . .
. . . oh what fun! To see everyone all dressed up in their finest! This is such a fun event I really don't want it to end . . .

. . . All good things must come to an end and today is no exception. I so didn't want to say good bye to my dear friend Liz but I must. I surprised her and went down by the gate for one final good bye. Until we see each other my friends . . . hope you all had as much fun at Downton Tabby as I did . . . ta ta.

Socks and I are on our way to Downton Tabby ....I can't wait to see who we'll meet up with there!
