Mommy walked from the Ocean Springs side to the Biloxi side and back again with her friend.
It has lots of pretty scenery that you can enjoy while you walk, and benches for you to take a rest if you need to.
Ocean Springs has lots of culture and lots of Artist. They are always having festivals and stuffs.
Shearwater Pottery is a small family-owned pottery founded in 1928 by Peter Anderson (1901-1984), with the support of his parents, George Walter Anderson and Annette McConnell Anderson. From the 1920s through the present day, the Pottery has produced art pottery, utilitarian ware, figurines, decorative tiles and other ceramic objects. Two of its most important designers were Walter Inglis Anderson (1903-1965) and his brother James McConnell Anderson (1907-1998). Although Shearwater was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the workshop was rebuilt and restored by Jason Stebly. Pottery continues to be thrown by Peter’s son James Anderson and the latter's son Peter Wade Anderson, and decorated by Patricia Anderson Findeisen, Christopher Inglis Stebly, Adele Anderson Lawton and others. You can go to the pottery and watch them throw pots.
Mommy enjoys going to the Peter Anderson Festival and the Herb and Garden Fest in Ocean Springs every year. They has lots of neat stuff for you to look at, at both Festivals. Mommy doesn't take Fen & Tui to the Festivals but they do get to go to the Farmer's Market at the Train Depot when Mommy walks on Saturdays.
Ocean Springs has lots more neat stuffs, you can read all about it in our post Pip & Puddles come for a visit by Fenris.
Gulf Islands National Seashore (Davis Bayou) is one of Fenris and Tuiren's favorite places.
They got to go walking there with Mommy and her friend, and thanks to "magic" Scylla and I got to go there when Pip and Puddles came for a visit.

MOL, pawsome, esp the cabin!
I think it's so cool that your Mommy walked all the way over that bridge and back. The view must have been amazing! And if Gulf Islands National Seashore is one of Fenris and Tuiren's favorite places to walk, it MUST be awesome. :)
Hugs!

There is so much water. Amazing. Love the potter too. Mom and her friend sure were brave, and energetic, to take that walk.
Very nice

Your home town looks like a lot of fun, Socks! You sure showed Pip and Puddles a good time. Mine mommy has a small Shearwater piece. I'm not allowed to look at it... Sort of stinks, like not letting doggies on the bridge walk...
Thansk for sharing with us!
Your furend, TK
How interesting to hear about the pottery amongst other things, and how, thankfully, they were able to continue after the hurricane.
Ocean Springs sure looks like a great place to live !
XOXO

What a beautiful place to live. Mama just loves the water. We bet dogs who get to walk across that bridge come home good and tired. Purrs, Abbi Leala
