Here’s my special post as part of Oui Oui’s Gotcha day
postathon, in aid of PAWS shelter.
Before I went to my forever home, I myself was a rescue
kitten. My mum had been turned out of
her home when she was expecting me and had to give birth to us all in a
temporary foster home. We were then
moved around several homes and the vet’s during the first days of our lives, so
it wasn’t the best start in life for us.
But thank goodness for the Cats Protection league, as our lives were
saved and we all ended up in good homes. Like PAWS, it looks after animals
like me who wouldn’t otherwise have a home and helps find them new humans to
share their lives with. Without these
shelters and the kind people who volunteer there, there would be many more
strays on the streets, living short and unhappy lives.
A big thank you for Oui Oui for your generous and important contribution to helping PAWS do what they do.

Kizzie, NO ONE could resist that sweet baby face! We're so glad you and your siblings all found wonderful homes. We, too, were very lucky to be adopted (separately) into this home. :-)
Kizzie you are so pretty and just think now you have a loving home, and your own blog complete with a typist and photographer. Our Mum helps the Cats Protection each month with a donation as the ones who came before us we C P cats too.

What a wonderful gotcha story! We weren't from the shelter but if Mommy hadn't picked us up from the drain, we would have been one of the many strays on the streets.
That really is a cute photo Kizzie. We are so glad you were lucky enough to have your Mom rescued and fostered by nice people.
