Hi evfurry sorry we are a day late..Mum was sick and so she shut down the computer.
We think she was actually trying to stop us posting her embarrassing picture.

Mum has had no end of trouble with her false fangs..and all it takes is one bit of something slightly hard and voila..
Out it falls..another false fang..MOL...
So here she is...and we say pay back for the unflattering tock shots and comments about me being a penguin is well ...justified MOL....

  And she also loves her food...just sayin Mum..

So Many embarrassing photos to choose from where does one begin. Mom made up rules when I was making my selection and she limited me to the ones of her as a kid.

 

Mom always loved the water and still does. She would always get cold so she would wear a nice tee shirt to keep her warm, silly huh? We all know that when a tee shirt gets wet it will make you cold. Dah. And ho that bathing cap! Do not get that at all.

 

Mom was always worried that the neighbor boy would tell everyone at school how silly mom looked when she was in the pool.

 

She may have looked silly but she always had fun as you can tell by this photo.

Embarrassing Photo of My Human!

Ahhh....payback is so sweet!    Our last group blog post was one in which we subjected ourselves to showing some of OUR personal most embarrassing moments captured on film - and let's face it - they were captured by those humans we  trust and love - how COULD they embarrass us like that?

Well, that's what today is all about - GETTING EVEN!

My Mom has so many wacky photos from the 60s and 70s when she was wild and crazy (oh come on Mom, you KNOW you were!)..........but when I was sorting through them (yes Mom I know where you hide them!), I found this one.   This was during her "BLONDE" period.    She was living in Florida with Hubby #1 at the time and wanted to fit in with all the chicks on the beach with long blonde hair and bikinis.   Fortunately (or unfortunately) she doesn't have any photos of that bikini, but let's just say from what she's told me, it was TEENY but she weighed about 70 lbs. LESS back then too!   HAHAHAHA (oops....sorry Mom).

Here's the photo - this was 1968 - she'd been married for one year.  My how time flies!

Big glasses were in then (obviously) and blonde was certainly in (according to Hubby #1) and his parents had insisted on everyone in the family having a portrait done at a photography studio. 

Mom says she wishes she had this much hair these days (whether blonde or gray who cares - she had MORE hair!)................and would love to lose the extra poundage she's put on since then.  

She had two cats in those days too - named Moose and Mike.   She's always been a cat Mom.   But even better than that, she's always forgiven me when I've been naughty - for instance posting this photo of her MIGHT be considered naughty!    Oh well...........turnabout is fair play!

Embarssing Humans!

Okay Mom....this is MY turn to show an embarrassing pic of YOU!!!


This picture was taken on Friday, October 10, 2008 when Mom and Dad were in Rome.  The picture was taken in St Peter's Basilica.  OMC look at Mom's hair and GLASSES! I have to say that those are NOT Mom's showing next to her handbag....she's short but not THAT short!! At least Dad looks good!!!!

Hi every furry!! It's Cody and boy oh boy was I ever happy to see that today is the day we get to embarrass our Moms (and Dads and whomever!!) and get back at them for all of the THOUSANDS of embarrassing photos that they take of US!!

To those of you who read my GOTCHA DAY post the other day, you know that Mom is already on my "you-know-what list" so today I couldn't be happier to share some SUPER EMBARRASSING photos of my Mom in all of her glory (or lack thereof!!).

 As you will see as you continue on, Mom has a serious love affair with HATS. Hats of ALL types. Problem is, THEY don't LOVE HER!!! MOL!!

 The above is Mom Circa 1970s (MANY of you weren't even born yet! MOL!! Mom should have invested in a tweezer and check out that Richard Simmons PERM!!! Mom was a lifeguard back in the day and this was a photo of her that was taken when she was hanging out in the lifeguard room waiting for her shift to start.

 This was taken a few years ago when the Detroit Tigers were in the World Series. (No worries about THAT happening THIS YEAR!!). People at the game LOVED how ridiculous Mom looked and COUNTLESS people came over to have their photo taken with her! The funniest part? Mom is mostly a Cleveland Indians fan!! MOL!

Last but boy oh boy is it worth it!!!! Mom "glams" it up for a Detroit Lions game!!! 
See what I mean furiends? This woman is certifiable! Wait til she sees that these photos are HERE!! I gotta run and hide under a blanket now...well, after I see YOUR embarrassing photos!

My Mom is always managing to do some crazy things with me when I'm participating in activities at Cat Scouts or fun things on my blog or other people's blogs.   Most of the time they're in the "CUTE" category, but sometimes she crosses the line and embarrasses me like CRAZY!

I can give you some great examples - are you ready?  Promise you'll never pass these disasters on to someone else - ever?  OK then.........

See what I  mean?   Terrible isn't it!!!   Well, I love my Mom to bits so I let her do some pretty crazy and embarrassing things to me - she's lucky I don't have a camera handy sometimes to catch HER in an embarrassing situation!
