HELPING...NOT RELAXING!

I am a helper cat, so instead of relaxing after the holidays, I helped our Mom with the de-decorating!

A FIRST FOR SAWYER!

I am resting up from the holidays by napping in my dad's lap. It's the first time I ever climbed into one of my human's laps for a nap!

Rosie's Holiday Recovery

I am a little tired from the excitement of my first Christmas and playing with my new toy, but I just need a little nap and I will be ready to play some more.

Holiday Aftermath

At last!!
The busy holiday times are over.
Decorations and bins are put away.
Our daily schedule is back to normal.
It helped that I could finally catch up on some much needed rest.

I made myself a tent under a new fuzzy blanket.
I slept there for many hours on end.
Mom kept checking in on me to make sure I was breathing.

Happy Aftermath Everyone.

My Holiday Recovery Photo

Yes it's been a very busy holiday season but it's over now...............how did I manage to get through all the excitement this year???????

By doing a WHOLE LOT OF THIS - that's how I managed!!!

Prancie Forever

Prancie - our "Cover Girl" and featured TCC member for the month of January, has left us for the Bridge.    She left yesterday while being held by her Mom and Dad knowing she had been loved for so many years and feeling their love as she flew away.     Her Mom, Miss Ellen at 15andMeowing won't be blogging for a few days but you can all leave messages of support and love if you want to at their blog http://15andmeowing.com.

I'm sure all our TCC Angels were there to give her a hug when she arrived at the Rainbow Bridge.

January Newsletter

January 2020

Here we are in the year 2020 – sounds like science fiction doesn’t it?!   Well, it’s a new start in the new year and we hope it will be a “banner year” for the Tabby Cat Club.   We would love to have some new members this year and keep the Club going in the name of FUN FOR TABBIES!

We all made New Year’s Resolutions right?  Now we must keep them.   A new year means a new start……..so let’s do it.

Featured Tabby

Prancie Pilch

Our Featured Tabby is the lovely Prancie from the Pilch family in Massachusetts.  As many of you already know, Prancie showed up on a very cold winter’s night at the Pilch house looking for help and shelter.   The night was SO cold that her ear tips literally froze off – even though she lost the tips of her ears due to frost bite by the time she arrived at the Pilch residence, and now she has rounded ears and is still ADORABLE.   Her Mom, Miss Ellen, is a very talented writer and has written two books about two of her kitties and Prancie is one of them!   It’s about how Prancie went directly to Jesus for help when she arrived at the Pilch house – how?   Well she tucked herself right into the outdoor nativity scene in the Pilch front yard.    She went right to the source of love and light and got her wish.    Now that’s a Christmas story for sure!   Prancie is great at “artwork” – which is what her Mom and Dad call it when she rips newspaper to shreds which she LOVES to do.    She also is famous for taking the phone off the hook which is HER way of asking for a snack!    Prancie is very fond of her human cousin who is nicknamed “The Great One” and her cousin loves to dress Prancie up in outfits including hats….Prancie is VERY patient and allows herself to be a “doll”.
Thanks for being our FEATURED TABBY for January Prancie.    We hear you have a new little sister kitty named Rosie who wants to join the Club.   I’m sure Gracie will help her get started!  If you could introduce yourself at Rosie's place, https://15andmeowing.com/, to make her feel super welcome to the club.

Would YOU like to be our next FEATURED TABBY?   Just write to Gracie and let her know – send a photo of you AND your “story” for the article and we’ll take it from there!

Miscellaneous

Have you thought about being a Host for a “special day” at the Club?   Well, if you’d like to host an event here, let Gracie know………what day – what occasion – what do Tabbies need to do to participate.   We’re always looking for fun so step right up and volunteer to be a host!

That’s it for the January newsletter……………..we hope to see you next month, an exciting new project will be announced – please encourage any Tabbies you know to join our Club.   Write to Gracie and she will get you on the role of the Tabby Cat Club.    The “happening place” to be for tabbies.
