St. Patrick's Day Party 2021

Today we are all a little bit Irish so . . . .
let's head to Ireland!!
Raz, Teddy, and I have made travel plans.

Unlike the humans we do not have a travel ban.
And we all will be safe from the virus.

My favorite place to nap, my heated cat cup. Sometimes I rest my chin on the edge. Other times I make myself into a comma or something. Either way, a grate place to nap. Mum is good at napping too, but no pics of that!

Embarrassing Photo of MOM

Here is mom waking up in the morning.

But we are just enjoying our lazy time before our day starts.

Well this is a "different" sort of post I suppose.......Mom probably will have a fit when she sees I snuck this photo from her album but that's the only way to get any INTERESTING photos of her I think!

Now I'll tell you the story behind this photo! My Mom's Mom entered this photo in a contest in New York City for a catalog company looking for baby models (a million years ago!). My Mom's photo won the contest. She was going to be a professional model with an agency and her Mom was going to have to take my Mom on the train from Long Island, NY into the BIG CITY every time they needed my Mom for a photo shoot. My Mom's Mom took her in ONLY ONCE - it was a very LONG day and my Mom was a cranky baby and tired and her Mom said "THIS IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!" so she was only a model for one day. Period.

Embarrassing? Well there are lots of embarrassing things my Mom has done but probably being a cranky baby model was the LEAST embarrassing of them all.

This was, obviously, WAY before any of us were born!! This is Mom and her Stepdad on New Years Eve many. many years ago. Look at that HAIR!!!! It's blurry because it's an old photo and was scanned. Can you see that her Stepdad is wearing a 101 Dalmations tie?
