National Pet Day

 Sounds like a special day to me!    Wanna know how it started?   

National Pet Day is celebrated by many countries on April 11th, while April is also National Pet Month. This is the month that we celebrate the animals in our lives that make our lives better. But as much as we celebrate the benefits that our pets bring to us, we can take April 11th to do something extra special for them. Hence, this is another day to spoil our pets rotten!

It’s a holiday to celebrate our special best friends – be it your dog, cat, bunny, reptile, or some other lovely creature. For us, dogs rule the roost. They bring us so much joy, love, and laughs. They never let us down, act as our perma-shrink and stick by our side through thick and thin. National Pet Day is also a friendly reminder to adopt your pet from your local animal shelter, not buy them from a pet store or breeder. It is the most important day of the year for thanking our animals as they provide us with endless amounts of love and cuddles.

I made sure my Mom and Dad remembered this special day............all I had to do was give them this look and I got big pets, a treat and a HUGE hug.   That's how we celebrate!

HAPPY EASTER FROM TIGGER AND FRIENDS AND A N EASTER POEM

 

Hi everyone and Happy Easter/Passover to you. We hope the Easter bunny was good to you and your humans. Mom Crystal spent Easter Dinner(Lunch to you city folk) with part of her family and Cat. I flew in to wish her a very Happy Easter. So what did you all do on this Easter Sunday? How did you spend your Easter/Passover Sunday? EASTER SUNDAY

EASTER SUNDAY  is a special day that everyone

Dresses up and goes to church and listens to a

Preacher tell everyone about how Jesus rose on the

Third day and ascended into Heaven then the family will

Come home to get together with friends and family and 

Enjoy a good size Easter meal then have an Easter egg hunt

For all the children. Easter is a time when children giggle and

Laugh and make new friends. So don't be afraid to giggle and 

Laugh and express your joy because you should.

 Hi, it's me Bunty! Your hostess with the mostest.  I hope you are having a great Easter!

I have brought easter baskets and treats for everyone and a picture of me with my bunny.  I don't like to get dressed up and mommy doesn't trust me with candy and plastic grass.

I love to lay with Dad every night after the chores are done I cuddle up against his leg. He says I am such a loving kitty. I don't like being picked up but who says you have to do that to be cuddly.

 What a fun day to celebrate.................I of course was a cuddly kitten but was already 11 months old when I was adopted so I was never "tiny" here.   I was all grown up!     My Angel brother Sammy though was just a wee baby when Mom and Dad got him from the shelter.   He was a MAJOR CUDDLY guy and I've got photographic proof of it!    

I was cuddly too - but mostly I was interested in going outside for walks - cuddling was secondary to being in the great outdoors!

See?  I was already a big boy when I moved in with Mom and Dad.....and very squirmy.   Mom was surprised when she was able to get that photo of me in Dad's arms....I wasn't paying attention to that flashy box I guess!   

Hope everyone enjoys Cuddly Kitten Day..........................we were MADE for cuddling!
