Mom even smashes up my pill into tiny bits and mixes it with my favorite thing in the universe - strawberry yogurt..........
So, Mom - - - I'm gonna give you a break in the new year......I HEREBY RESOLVE TO COOPERATE! Yep - You can gimme that yogurt and I'll eat it! Honest! I promise!
I'd make MORE resolutions but I know I won't keep them..................but this one I'm gonna do.

It's a good resolution, but you know that med can be compounded into a gel and applied at the tip of the inner ear, right? Or in the armpit area. I used to give Annie her methimazole that way, as even vets couldn't pill her. The gel was a good solution, once we got the right base (the first caused her ears to almost blister, it was so irritating). She still didn't like it and would fuss, but it was better than trying to get a pill into her by any means.

Good resolutions Sammy. Maybe Mom can try what Dad does for Rumpy's Asthma medication. He took treats and put them in a coffee mill. Then he mixes the powder with a little water and puts the paste around the pill. Rumpy sucks em down like crazy.

Thanks for the encouragement. We were gonna do the gel thing but there's no local compounding pharmacy to use....I'm pretty darn good about my strawberry yogurt thing except for the last couple of weeks Mom has to chase me around until I stop and let her give it to me! (don't tell her but I'm just trying to get HER to exercise!). Tee Hee
