National Feral Cat Day With Ted

It's that special day of the year again - the day we celebrate Feral Cats all over the world.......especially those who are still looking for homes AND those who have been lucky enough to have FOUND a forever home.

Both my Angel brother Sammy and I were ferals.    No homes prior to being brought to the shelter and no "history" to share other than we knew that baby Sammy was found under an abandoned house all alone.

We both were lucky enough to have been adopted by Mom and Dad.    We would wish that every feral cat finds either a permanent home or at least a place where they can go and feel safe and get a meal when they need it.     We have two regular visitors to our front porch - we don't know their history but they know they have a shelter and a meal whenever they stop by.

A big thanks to the sponsors in the blogosphere for this special day....they were lucky ferals too!

And all of you have seen the above photo before - two happy brother ferals who never met each other but knew a GREAT home when they saw one!

Hugs, Teddy

Sorry we are late getting here, Teddy. We did not know you and Sammy were ferals before finding your forever home with your mom and dad. Our angel Sammy was found in a feral cat colony, too. It's always beautiful when feral kitties find love, isn't it?
