National Tabby Cat Day

MeOW Hey everypawdy, it's me, Deztinee. Kittens, me's been gone fur a while, but hopefully, mommy can help me more this year. Today's big celebration is in honor of all those special kitties with an M on their furhead and stripes on their bodies...the Tabby Cat!!! 'Nuffin and nokitty ever repurrsented as well as sis Lexi, but me's gonna try.

Ya' know, sissy never once made fun of me's broken M or pointed eyes and ears. And, neither did any other gawjus tabby here at the club. That's one of the pawsum things 'bout tabbies, they're laid back, loyal and luvvin'. Tabbies really know how to enjoy life and luv with all their bein'. Mommy says that describes me to a tee...ummm to an M. MOL

Anyways, me just wanted to paw in and meow a Happy National Tabby Cat Day to all. Angel Lexi wanted me to share a foto of her too and to remind you all to give your kitties, stripes or no, a big hug every day. We wish you all a purrfectly pawsum week.

Dezi the Lion

Well it feels so strange to be here without sis Lexi. When we furst joined da Tabby Cat Club, it was gonna be just sissy. You know her markings were purrfect, and me's stripes not so much. Me's M is broken so we didn't think me kuld join. But alas, we both became purroud members of da Tabby Cat Club. So me's here to carry on da purroud tabby pattern on me's lynx point. And today me's showin' off me's inner lion.

Till da next time.......................Be Blest!!!

Baby Love from the PDX pride

Thank you to Sammy for organizing this "baby love" day!  It's been wonderful seeing the baby piccies of our fellow tabby kittens and friends!  This is our first post as members of the TCC, so we'd like to introduce ourselves.  Tabby is 9 years old, Rori is almost 8 years old, Little Bit is 7 years old, Starla is around 8 years old, and Tigress is 3 years old.  Rori and Little Bit are half-sisters on their dad's side, and Starla is Little Bit's cousin.  We're all very excited to be part of this club!  If you want, please come visit us at our blog:  Furry Tails of the PDX pride.

Now, on to those baby piccies!  :)

Tabby at 4 weeks old with brother Carbon (5 weeks old), a few days after we came to our forever home.
Rori at 4 weeks old with Mommy Erin, just minutes after Mommy Karen pulled her out of the middle of an old tire in the neighbor's yard.  Mommy Erin had seen me and my brother running across the street!
Little Bit as a baby, probably about 9 weeks old, eating from the feral cats' food bowl on our back porch. At this point, I "belonged" to the neighbors.
Little Bit's sister Baby Chiba (now an angel kitten) and our cousin Starla (whom we adopted) at the same time as the picture of Little Bit was taken. We came from the same "home" as Little Bit. Starla was about 7 months old at this time.
From left to right: Hemming (adopted to a new home), tabby & white boy kitten (went missing as a kitten), Mama Leopard, Miss Marble (now an angel) and Tigress. This photo was taken on July 22, 2011, when the babies were about 9 weeks old. Leopard was about 2 years old.
Little Bit's baby boys, all grown mancats now and adopted to other homes:  Kai (off exploring already), Little Guy/Tiger, Squishy, and Cloud.  This photo was taken when they were three weeks old and came to live with us to be fostered.

Timmy and Fitz Yoga Fur Furs

Hello Furends:

Fitz and I would like to thank Swami Zoe fur hosting this Tabby Cat Club event. At the Tomcat Home we practice an eclectic Bidalasana (Cat Pose) form

I warm up with simple poses like "Hey You!"
It gets family Hooligans to fess up.

"Yin - Yang World" pose. Make sure
the feets is clean!

A warm up with
"Loaf of the Meat"

Fur facial muscles try the
"Hey Kyoot Man-Cat"
Alternate eyes to keep em guessing

Advanced "Gimme Gimme"
Be careful where you use this one!

The "Put Foot Down" also known as
the "U Betta Stop It"

Thanks so much fur being our furends! Please send healing purrs to Gracie at Brian's Home and Jewel and Carmine of  Fur Everywhere as these kitties are ill.

Yoko from Cats of Wildcat Woods has gone over the Rainbow Bride and the family can use support.

Timmy and the Soft Kitty Song

Hi Furends:

Thanks Dexter and Willow for Hosting!

You should all know about my, sniff, loss over at the Cat Scouts Cardwood Derby. When we build my car I was thinking it would not even  be a contest and I would coast into furst. Well , it was not to be. I was up against some really great racers and my pal Newman won with his super fast Jeep!

I do have my tissue which I won fur second place along with my Cat Scouts Neckerchief and Woggle

I really need something to lift me up.

Einstein: This will make you feel better Timmy.
