Some facts about Labor Day:

Labor Day is always celebrated on the first Monday in September. This special time denotes a restful and fun time for each and every hardworking American.Canadians celebrate this holiday on the same day as well.

Other countries, Australia, Jamaica, New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago also celebrate Labor Day, but they do so on different months and days. In Australia depending on where you live, Labor Day may be celebrated on the first Monday in October, the first or second Monday in March or the first Monday in May.

Pampered Miss Fitz

This gal is one pampered kitty cat. Check out my Cat Tree Tower that Dad got Just for me

Dad got me a Nip Nanner and Pillow. He takes time to play Mousie and String and even invites Dot over. She is a good chase but gets me riled up

My special Pinkie is fun and I love String Thing. Dad check under the couch String is missing, again.

The best part about being pampered is cuddles on my terms. Sometimes I want them, sometimes I don't. If that's not pampered nothing is!

Pampered Cat Day with Raz and Noelle

Mom knows that she shouldn't disturb us when we are snuggling and Noelle is giving Raz a good ear wash!!  Better than any Spa Day!

 

Pampered Pet Day

Well every day is pampered pet day at my house.   I am lucky.  I say "pampered" is just another word for "spoiled" and I AM the epitome of that.    

I have the run of the house and of the yard (with snoopervision) and I get brushed every single morning by my Mom while we watch the morning news.   That makes my furs nice and shiny and my skin nice and healthy.........now that's pampering if ever there was some.   

I was allowed to drink from the sink until I got too big to climb my stairs!

I get to hike in my woods with my Dad looking for bugs, skinks and chipmunks!

I can sleep on any bed in the house - any time!

And I have boxes and baskets full of toys!

Now I ask you - am I a pampered kitty or not?

Take Your Cat to the Vet Day

Some Cats have no sense when it comes to going to the Vet in the PTU.
Me and Timmy always knew better.

The truth is Dad always took all of us to the Vet yearly for checkups until 2020 and then just for serious stuff like Angel Timmy's problems with weight and Rumpy's Asthma. Dad is so glad he can now go with us again. He says I may go soon but is keeping mum on when. Come on Dad, tell me, I need to hide! MOL

Take Your Cat To The Vet Day

 I really like having my Mom with me in the exam room so it was pretty scary when earlier this year I had to go to the vet for my checkup and Mom had to stay in the car!    But my vet is a super nice guy and his office staff knows me so well - they made me feel comfy even though Mom wasn't there.    

It's a nice feeling when we feel like we can trust our vet - after all - they keep us healthy and happy!    My thanks to Dr. Rethman and everyone for taking such good care of me.

He always gives me lots of pets and talks nice to calm me down...........he also loves that I'm a BIG BOY!

Make sure you keep current on your shots and dental and checkups - we want to be here as long as we can to keep our humans company....right?   RIGHT!

World Cat Day

 Ah yes!   We cats get a lot of special days during the year and certainly World Cat Day is one of them, celebrated on August 8th but those of us who are spoiled rotten cats know EVERY DAY is World Cat Day!

I probably will get extra hugs and maybe extra treats today.    I wish all cats everywhere in the whole wide world have a SPECIAL day because we are indeed SPECIAL.
