Happy Halloween!

It's UNhappy Howl-O-Ween!
There is nothing happy about a costume!
And the trick is on me.

I will not look at the camera.
I will not look at the camera.
I will not look . . .

Dressing me up as a Taco Cat doesn't help!
Not to mention comments about no more extra small costumes for me.

Is it over?
Please?

Thanks to The Tabby Cat Club
and all the terrific tabbies for a really great Halloween bash!

Purrs,

Ok, you knew it wasn't over until I shared my favoritest Halloween picture ever:

 Sister Julie as a witch!
If she could have cast a spell or hurt someone she would have!

And stop by for Sister Mica Minnie Moo's birthday party too!

Oui Oui's NOMS Day

NOMS Day (Not of Our Species Day) is a special day for us at TwinkletoeTails cause we have the bestest NOMS in our family!  We love showing our cousins off!

Young Neville is the newest member.
He is about 6 months old and lives with big brother Kahn.

Neville and Kahn love to eat!

When they hear The Girl, they come running!

Our other cousins are known as "The Carrots", cause the mom misunderstood The Girl when she was talking about the ferrets.

We Carrots do the funniest things!

Pepe Jack shows off his yoga skills.

While Zena Marie shows her fashion sense.

But over all we are SO cute!

And our tummies are as cute as any kittens!
And 5 times as long.
We think there should be a Carrot Tummy Day!
Have fun seeing all the NOMS!

Baby Love with Oui Oui

Who could resist an adorable little Oui Oui?

She and The Girl were kittens together!

You can see her shaved little belly.
Even at 8 weeks they made sure she wouldn't add to overpopulation.
Either she was a messy eater or she ran through her kibble.

Such bright eyes!
And a mischievous, playful little soul.
Oui Oui has brought so much joy into our lives!

Thanks, Sammy, for hosting a great event!
One can never see enough cute kitten photos.

Oui Oui's Big Tabby Cat Club Adventure!

Did you see this?
Moosey's dad made this cool poster for me!
Do you remember the movie Pee Wee's Big Adventure?
Well, this is Oui Oui's Big Adventure!

Guess how much money we raised for my Gotcha Day!
There were 30 posts at here at the TCC.
We had 64 comments at Twinkletoetails
(a couple kitties had problems leaving a comment
but we counted them anyway)
at 25 cents each, so the grand total was $46.
Then we threw in a bonus for the comments left at our post here,
bringing the grand total to $54!
Everyone worked so hard, but I hope you all had fun too.

Now, here is my surprise:
Recognize this handsome kitty?
Of course, we all do!
Brian came forward and offered to match what we raised!
He is one of the most caring, kindest kitties
and his good deeds are known by all.
Thank you, Brian,
you are one in a million!

So we Twinkletoe kitties have been talking and decided
we are going to chip all our allowances in
and give the full $100 to the PAWS kitties
for the Catification Project, The Habitat for Cats,
because we really want the PAWS kitties to have a great place to hang out.

Thanks, PAWS kitties!
Next year I hope all of you will be celebrating your Gotcha Day too.
Moosey, Gracie & Zoe, I see you in there!

And a big thanks to all the Tabby Cat Club kitties!
You are truly pawsome!

Now I am off to my big adventure!

Oui Oui's Big Post-a-Thon Adventure!

Happy Gotcha Day, sweet Oui Oui!

Since you encouraged us to post about fun, play and favorite things today, my family and I wanted to create a post about YOU having FUN and PLAYing.  Because one of our FAVORITE things is knowing that YOU are happy! So ... here's some fun parody art Dad (meowmeowmans) created after Mom Tracey suggested the theme:

(Some of your parents *might* be old enough (like mine) to actually remember the movie, "Pee Wee's Big Adventure.")
Thank you for sponsoring this wonderful event, and for helping us jumpstart the "Habitat for Cats" program at PAWS.  We are all so grateful for your thoughtfulness and generosity, and even more, for your continued friendship. :)

Look!  We managed to get a whole bunch of the PAWS Cats together for this picture! :)
Big hugs, love and headbonks,

Moosey, Gracie and Zoe, Mom Tracey and Dad Kevin (meowmeowmans), and the PAWS Cats

Kizzie Joins Post-A-Thon

My first photo - who could resist me?
Here’s my special post as part of Oui Oui’s Gotcha day postathon, in aid of PAWS shelter.
Before I went to my forever home, I myself was a rescue kitten.  My mum had been turned out of her home when she was expecting me and had to give birth to us all in a temporary foster home.  We were then moved around several homes and the vet’s during the first days of our lives, so it wasn’t the best start in life for us.  But thank goodness for the Cats Protection league, as our lives were saved and we all ended up in good homes.  Like PAWS, it looks after animals like me who wouldn’t otherwise have a home and helps find them new humans to share their lives with.  Without these shelters and the kind people who volunteer there, there would be many more strays on the streets, living short and unhappy lives.

A big thank you for Oui Oui for your generous and important contribution to helping PAWS do what they do.

Hug Your Tabby Cat Day!

Today is Hug Your Cat Day!

But remember, do it with dignity and grace.
We kitties have standards!

As far as Oui Oui is concerned,
there is only one right way to be held and hugged.

You can do it over your left shoulder,
or you can do it over your left shoulder.
The choice is up to you.

See?  Everyone is happy!

Otherwise, who knows how you will be hugged?
Maybe like a baby.

It could even turn your world topsy turvy!

Thanks Gracie for hosting this event!
We can always use another hug!

Hide & Seek

Where the Wild One hides!
Someone I know has seasonal hiding spots.
Here she is in her all weather, all season place.

I hide here.
I do the seeking too!
It's under the furniture where the kitty play boxes
and scratchers are,
so it's a popular location.
I peep out looking for sisfurs or my brofur to pass by.

Then they get a little bop they weren't expecting.

When it's cold out, I find a very comfy place to hide
but it usually doesn't involve much seeking.
This is the bestest spot ever!

Thanks Gracie for hosting this fun and comfy event!

Purrs,
Oui Oui

We are sharing our hiding places at our blog too.
Come seek us out!

Confessions of a Oui Oui

Or
The Admissions of a Busy Little Tabby

Kitties, I have searched and searched my soul, and I have concluded that, being a kitty, I can't find anything I should confess!  While I might chew an occasional earbud cord while under the eye of a watchful mom, it's all in good fun.  So is counter surfing.

Bringing toys to bed
in the middle of the night
is all innocent fun!

Now, who would do that to the mom's magazine?
Still my conscience is clear.

Just because I'm at the scene of the crime
doesn't mean I did it!
Everyone knows paper is so comfy.

Next I'll get blamed for this too!
The mom should be grateful Carl didn't pee on it.

No, you did not hear digging in the box
during middle of the night!
And that damage in the corner WAS there!

Honest!

Well, ok, maybe you did hear something
but I think it was Mica Minnie Moo.

Oh, was that your breakfast?
Well, someone told me it wasn't that good
and they had to spit it out.
No thanks necessary.

 OMC!  When did that happen?

I have no idea why some silly kitty
would try to climb the curtains.
But next time, I'll warn them they could fall.
Or get their claws caught.
Not that I know from experience.

Now all has been explained and exonerated,
I'm so glad Gracie gave us all the
opportunity to confess that there is nothing
that needed to be confessed!

Thanks, Gracie!

Purrs,
Oui Oui
