Bed Wars with Spyro, Rocio and Oja
Spyro: We use all kinds of tactics in our bed wars. Above Rocio demonstrates how to take up as much room as possible.
Rocio: Spyro is good at taking up a lot of room, too, when he isn't working undercover.
Oja: I try to grab the side of the bed, so Mom has to crawl around me to get in. I like her in the middle to buffer me from stinky boycats.
Spyro: We get Mom sandwiched in pretty good. If she has to get up in the night to use the human litter box we all laugh ourselves silly watching her try to get out without disturbing us. In the morning I get her up by trying to claw the covers off her.

Bed Wars With Abbi And Friends
Here's a typical scene on our bed. Ateret loves to nap on the pillow next to Mama's. Sometimes, Livia naps there, too. I don't care about that - I care about curling up against Mama's pillow when she isn't in bed, and I care about cuddling her against and between her legs. Unfortunately, Ateret and Livia also like those things. We manage, however, to take turns in our Kitty Kuddly bed. I love that thing!
We also eat on our bed because Ateret can't deal with being alone, and Mama decided she's got to watch us to make sure we only eat what's ours. I say, good luck with that one. We've got our own spots where we eat: Ateret eats on her pillow. Livia's bowl is in the middle of the bed, and mine is to the right of Livia, with both bowls being about half-way to the end of the bed to the right of Mama's pillow.
We always win because it's three against one!
Pee Es: We're happy Gracie's mommy is feeling better!
Pee Pee Es: Thank you, Oui Oui, for this fun event!
Bed Wars - Moosey and Brother Sammy WIN!
Hi everybuddy! It's me, Moosey!
Here are me and Sammy getting all comfortable on the bed. Notice my big brother Sammy's amazing occupation skills -- just look at how he stretches out to take up as much room as possible! And look at me, giving the mom and the dad the back of disrespect. Tee hee!
Well ... maybe we'll let you share the bed, Mommy and Daddy. Maybe. :)
Sammy and Moosey: 1, Mommy and Daddy: ZERO.
Thanks for holding this fun event, Oui Oui! We loves you!
Hugs,
Moosey
The Bed Wars, Round I
Oui Oui and The Girl as kittens.
As a young kitty, I loved scratching away while I was on my back. Of course, the bed was the object of my scratching! The mom would come home from work to find huge amounts of stuffing stretched across the floor. Soon we kitties could climb into the netting and sleep there. It was like a large kitty hammock. So snuggly and comfy! Those were really the days!
Walking the bed as a kitten.
Eventually I dug holes all the way through to the top of the mattress. In no time there were huge springs sticking out of the top. While this didn't bother us kitties much, well in fact, not at all, the mom had to resort to sleeping across the lower part of the bed while her legs pointed up to the headboard.
A recent photo on the headboard.
One day, some men took the old beds (I had been working on The Girl's bed too) and brought new ones. I set to work right away!
But, I couldn't believe what the mom did! She came home with large sheets of wood, and she put them under the box springs and mattresses! In vain did I roll on my back and scratch at the wood. I tried! I tried really hard! Even in the middle of the night, waking the mom with the sound of my claws on wood.
This is how I walk across the bed.
Sadly, my sharp nails were no match for the wood and finally I gave up.
These days, I have my beloved cardboard, but no beds to scratch.
Ok, I give the first round of The Bed Wars to the mom. That's ok. We kitties own the night, and there are daily breakfasts to wake up for. You know we aren't going to give in THAT easily!
