Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down

Mommy is tired and her feet hurt from all the standing she does at work.  At least she can still work as her job is considered essential.  She rides public transportation, now it is for essential trips only (meaning to work, grocery store and appointments)

She has found out about a way to get me dry food when needed and they will bring it to us.

HAPPY EASTER FROM TIGGER

Hi everyone I wanted to wish you all a very Happy Easter. Our Easter like everyone else's was well... different. This year we sent the Easter Bunny a short letter and told him our dilemma. He said he understood. He also asked what we really wanted instead of a basket? That was easy. We asked for our health and guess what? So far so good everyone's health here at the house is good.
Anyhow, I stopped by for the Easter tea and boy did I have fun. Gracie & Stephanie thank you for a lovely time. Tabby Cats, thank you for making this Easter tea fun.
I hope Everyone has a fantastic Easter.

Happy Easter Everyone!    I know the Easter Bun is social distancing this year so might not be delivering your basket RIGHT TO YOUR DOOR but look outside and you'll see signs that he did visit you as always!

YES I look pretty silly as a bunny - I make a much more reasonable looking cat but I put this on to celebrate the occasion with all of my friends here at the Club!

Have a morning cupcake on me - something to tide you over until our Tabby Cat Club Easter Tea this afternoon at 2PM EST !

teddy bear hunt

Where my human and I live the apartment complex is holding a teddy bear hunt.  It's a way to get residents out walking for exercise during this time of social distancing and isolation.  Since my human was afraid that I would basically destroy a stuffed animal she drew two bears to put in her window.

We are protective, loving, cuddly
When we want to be. Depending
On our makeup, we may have two
Different colored eyes or like me,
We may have yellowish-green eyes.

Eye color, each Tabby Cat is very

A True Tabby Cat or so I'm told

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, my name is TIGGER and I'm a Grey Striped Tabby Cat. I'm also one of the newest members of the TCC (TABBY CAT CLUB). So who am I you ask? Well let me tell you.

WHEN I WAS WITH MY PREVIOUS OWNER

When I was with my previous owner who had a lot of Cats, It was tough getting through each day. Actually, it was survival of the fittest if you know what I mean. You see, I was the Runt of my litter and all the other Cats pushed me out of the way so I didn't get much to eat. Other horrible things happened too but I won't dwell on that. However if you're interested in reading my story, you can read my story by going to: TIGGER AND DAISY  MAE: PART 1 and DAISY MAE'S KITTYHOOD: PART 2 . I do hope you read these short stories.

HOW I GOT MY FUREVER HOME

Fast forward to September 9, 1996. On this date my now Furever Mom and Sister started working  in Retail and quickly became friends with my previous Mom. After my Mom and Sister lost her previous Cat, she wasn't in a big hurry to get another Cat but when Mom's Co-Worker and Friend got wind she might want another Cat, she kept bugging Mom with all these terrible stories that Mom didn't like. Finally, Mom decided to adopt/rescue me on September 15, 1996 and I was never so glad she did. Fast forward to September 9, 1996. On this date my now Furever Mom and Sister started working  in Retail and quickly became friends with my previous Mom. After my Mom and Sister lost her previous Cat, she wasn't in a big hurry to get another Cat but when Mom's Co-Worker and Friend got wind she might want another Cat, she kept bugging Mom with all these terrible stories that Mom didn't like. Finally, Mom decided to adopt/rescue me on September 15, 1996 and I was never so glad she did. Since my Mom and Sister had to work that day, I didn't get to see her until that night when her parents picked her up at work and brought her home. When she got home on my 1st day in my furever home, she automatically tried to find me. Well eventually she found me in her bedroom closet. She tried and tried to coax me out and even tried to pet me but I was way to scared and wouldn't let her pet me. She finally walked away and let me come out of her bedroom closet on my own. I eventually came out of her bedroom closet and became quick friends with Mom and the other lady in the house. The Dad well... I was still leary of him. My new furever home was a lot better than my previous one and eventually Mom and her family took in and rescued/adopted a Kitten. The Kitten was about 4 weeks. I was a Senior Cat and surprisingly the Kitten mellowed me and I came to play more. I even played with the Kitten they came to call Daisy Mae. Daisy Mae is that cute little kitten laying on Mom. 9. I have a Sister named Daisy Mae(not from the same litter).

12. Finally I have what I always wanted, a Furever home.

Greetings!

Hello Tabby Cat Club members………we are winding down the recruitment drive as we’ve not had much “action” in that arena but we did add a new member and you’ll hear about her below!  We are always looking for new members though so just because we aren’t having a concerted effort to recruit, doesn’t mean it’s not the PERFECT time for you to invite a tabby friend to come to the Club!   Our welcome mat is always out.

April 12 – EASTER celebration at the Club
An afternoon tea celebration starting at 2:00 est.

Tabby Cat Round Up Winner

Good news!!!   We added a new member to our Club this past month and we owe it all to our buddy and pal and fellow “Clubber” Timmy Tomcat!   He told his friend Dora whose blog “It’s a Wonderpurr Life” can be found at http://Adorrapur.com that we were looking to add some more tabbies to the Club and she has joined.    That means Timmy gets a special surprise for doing a good job of recruiting during the recruitment drive.     Since it’s a surprise package we can’t show you (or tell you) what’s in the surprise but we are sure Timmy will send in a photo or two of all the kitties he lives with when they take a peek at their package when it arrives.    THANK YOU TIMMY and WELCOME DORA !
