INTRODUCING TIGGER

TIGGER ON MY BED.

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, my name is TIGGER and I'm a Grey Striped Tabby Cat. I'm also one of the newest members of the TCC (TABBY CAT CLUB). So who am I you ask? Well let me tell you.

WHEN I WAS WITH MY PREVIOUS OWNER

When I was with my previous owner who had a lot of Cats, It was tough getting through each day. Actually, it was survival of the fittest if you know what I mean. You see, I was the Runt of my litter and all the other Cats pushed me out of the way so I didn't get much to eat. Other horrible things happened too but I won't dwell on that. However if you're interested in reading my story, you can read my story by going to: TIGGER AND DAISY  MAE: PART 1 and DAISY MAE'S KITTYHOOD: PART 2 . I do hope you read these short stories.

HOW I GOT MY FUREVER HOME

Fast forward to September 9, 1996. On this date my now Furever Mom and Sister started working  in Retail and quickly became friends with my previous Mom. After my Mom and Sister lost her previous Cat, she wasn't in a big hurry to get another Cat but when Mom's Co-Worker and Friend got wind she might want another Cat, she kept bugging Mom with all these terrible stories that Mom didn't like. Finally, Mom decided to adopt/rescue me on September 15, 1996 and I was never so glad she did. Fast forward to September 9, 1996. Finally, Mom decided to adopt/rescue me on September 15, 1996 and I was never so glad she did. Since my Mom and Sister had to work that day, I didn't get to see her until that night when her parents picked her up at work and brought her home. When she got home on my 1st day in my furever home, she automatically tried to find me. Well eventually she found me in her bedroom closet. She tried and tried to coax me out and even tried to pet me but I was way to scared and wouldn't let her pet me. She finally walked away and let me come out of her bedroom closet on my own. I eventually came out of her bedroom closet and became quick friends with Mom and the other lady in the house. The Dad well... I was still leary of him. My new furever home was a lot better than my previous one and eventually Mom and her family took in and rescued/adopted a Kitten. The Kitten was about 4 weeks. I was a Senior Cat and surprisingly the Kitten mellowed me and I came to play more. I even played with the Kitten they came to call Daisy Mae. Daisy Mae is that cute little kitten laying on Mom. Picture below.
DAISY MAE  AS A KITTEN LAYING ON MOM.

LET'S RECAP

  1. I had a very bad kittyhood.

  6. I'm rescued/adopted.
  7. I'm a Female Tabby Cat.

Timmy and Fitz are Blessed

Thanks so much Dezi and Lexi for hosting this very special Tabby Cat Club event! I cannot wait to see our furends post so lets start off telling what we feel blessed about Miss Fitz.
Okay Timmy.

I feel really blessed to have such a great fur family. Toby, Rumpy, Buddy, Einstein, Buttons and you Timmy are all really good to me.
Thanks Miss Fitz. Another thing that we are blessed about is that we know how important it is to help those who may not have a home, may need a new home or need help with health care. We are blessed to have a small ability to give and help others.
Yes Timmy. I like that Dad puts food out for Feral-Girl who visits in the night. He has only seen her once besides the camera. You can see her in the bottom left of our Collage.
Remember when Einstein came Fitz. Before he even had a name and was called kitten and how we purred that he would pull through his terrible illness. Now he looks for Dad with his little "mew-where-are-you." What an amazing kitty and a blessing that he pulled through.
And we are really blessed to have a great Dad!
Of course! He is always there for us no matter what!
Yes we sure are blessed. And then there is the biggest one  of all.
That big huge ginormous blessing... Great Friends!
Here at the Tabby Cat Club!
At Cat Scouts!
In the Blog-O-Sphere!
At the Rescue Organizations Dad belongs to!
All the friends that visit Dad and us at home by phone and email!
Yes we are blessed!
Sure are Timmy

Moosey's Family :)

Hi everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!

Thanks to my awesome pal, Oui Oui, for hosting this really fun event.  I'm excited to share about my family near and far, AND to meet the families of all my TCC buddies!

Lots of you already know my sisfurs, Gracie and Zoe.  They are beautiful house panthers, and Mom and Dad adopterated them from PAWS this past September.  They are littermates, about 10 years old, and they enjoy doing lots of stuff together (here they are, watching some Bird TV).

Gracie (blue collar) and Zoe (pink collar)
Even though they are both super sweet and look a lot alike, Gracie and Zoe have very distinct personalities.  Gracie is the true snuggler of the family, very smart, and she loves a good belly rub.  Zoe is snuggly, too, but also has a child-like quality about her. She is always making us laugh with her antics (stuff like chasing flies, posing like a bunny, and running so fast that she skids on the hardwood floor).

This is my adorable cousin, Zoey.  She lives in Southern California with Dad's sister and nephew.  As you can see, she makes a very good monorail cat. :)

I also have an honorary family from Michigan, the Cherry City Kitties!  Two of them -- Dexter and Willow -- are in the Tabby Cat Club!  Dexter, Harry and Tipp offered to be my honorary brofurs when Sammy had to go to the Bridge.  How pawsome is that?  Of course I said yes, because you can never have too many brofurs.  AND I got a new sisfur (Willow), and an honorary mom (Carolyn) and dad (Mark), too!  (By the way, Dad borrowed these beautiful pictures of the Cherry City Kitties from their blog.)

My honorary family! Clockwise, from top left: Dexter, Harry, Willow and Tipp
I also have three cat cousins in Seattle. Their names are Yuki, Mochi and Ella.  And my dog cousin Bella lives there, too!  Dad has some pictures of them all somewhere, but wasn't able to find them in time for my post.  So even though I don't have pictures to share right now, we love Yuki, Mochi, Ella and Bella very much.

So, that's my family.  I hope you enjoyed getting to know them!  Okay, I'm off to go and meet all of YOUR families now.  How exciting! :)

Hugs and headbonks,

Moosey :)
