Moosey's Family :)

Hi everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!

Thanks to my awesome pal, Oui Oui, for hosting this really fun event.  I'm excited to share about my family near and far, AND to meet the families of all my TCC buddies!

Lots of you already know my sisfurs, Gracie and Zoe.  They are beautiful house panthers, and Mom and Dad adopterated them from PAWS this past September.  They are littermates, about 10 years old, and they enjoy doing lots of stuff together (here they are, watching some Bird TV).

Gracie (blue collar) and Zoe (pink collar)
Even though they are both super sweet and look a lot alike, Gracie and Zoe have very distinct personalities.  Gracie is the true snuggler of the family, very smart, and she loves a good belly rub.  Zoe is snuggly, too, but also has a child-like quality about her. She is always making us laugh with her antics (stuff like chasing flies, posing like a bunny, and running so fast that she skids on the hardwood floor).

This is my adorable cousin, Zoey.  She lives in Southern California with Dad's sister and nephew.  As you can see, she makes a very good monorail cat. :)

I also have an honorary family from Michigan, the Cherry City Kitties!  Two of them -- Dexter and Willow -- are in the Tabby Cat Club!  Dexter, Harry and Tipp offered to be my honorary brofurs when Sammy had to go to the Bridge.  How pawsome is that?  Of course I said yes, because you can never have too many brofurs.  AND I got a new sisfur (Willow), and an honorary mom (Carolyn) and dad (Mark), too!  (By the way, Dad borrowed these beautiful pictures of the Cherry City Kitties from their blog.)

My honorary family! Clockwise, from top left: Dexter, Harry, Willow and Tipp
I also have three cat cousins in Seattle. Their names are Yuki, Mochi and Ella.  And my dog cousin Bella lives there, too!  Dad has some pictures of them all somewhere, but wasn't able to find them in time for my post.  So even though I don't have pictures to share right now, we love Yuki, Mochi, Ella and Bella very much.

So, that's my family.  I hope you enjoyed getting to know them!  Okay, I'm off to go and meet all of YOUR families now.  How exciting! :)

Hugs and headbonks,

Moosey :)

Merry Christmas from Moosey (and my sisfurs) :)

Merry Christmas to the entire Tabby Cat Club! :)

Thank you for being such great friends, and for always making me feel so welcome here.

Big hugs, and wishes for the happiest of holidays,

Moosey (and my sisfurs Gracie and Zoe, and Mom Tracey and Dad Kevin, too)

Moosey's Soft Tabby (Kitty) Song :)

Hi Everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!

FANKS to my honorary brofur and sisfur, Dexter and Willow, for hosting this totally pawsome event.  Dex and Willow, and their whole family are the BESTEST, and my sisfurs Gracie and Zoe and I (and Mommy and Daddy, too) sure do love them.  Anyway, here's my rendition of the "Soft Tabby (Kitty) Song"...

Soft tabby, warm tabby, little ball of fur:

SILLY tabby

Sleepy tabby

Purr, purr, purr...

Oh, and since I'm singing the Soft Tabby Song, I ALSO wanted to share a picture that Daddy took today at PAWS of my sweet and adoptable senior TABBY friend, Evangeline.  Isn't she pretty?  And look how well she does the Soft Tabby pose! :)

Have a great day, everybuddy!

Hugs and headbonks,

Moosey

Exciting News at Our House

Hi Everybuddy!  It's me, Moosey!

I was talking with Gracie and Raz about some very exciting things that happened on Friday here at my house, and they both thought I should share them with the Tabby Cat Club.  Some of you may have already heard them, so I apologize if you have, but we're so, so excited that we are practically bursting at the seams!

The first thing happened at 5:00 PM EST, when we found out that Animal Shelter Volunteer Life had won the "Best Cause-Related Blog" category of the 2013 Petties Awards.  We were all pretty shocked that our little bloggie, about the cats at the shelter where I came from (and where Mommy and Daddy volunteer) received such a prestigious honor.  And we were super excited that it means PAWS will get a $1,000 donation.  That will help lots of kitties (and woofies, too)!  We got a nice badge for our bloggie (see below) and we - even Mommy and Daddy and the shelter staff and other volunteers - all did the happy dance.  Thank you, everybuddy who voted for us - we couldn't have possibly won without your love and support. :)

The funny thing is, the most exciting news was still to come!  About an hour after finding out about the Petties, Mommy and Daddy went to PAWS to ... wait for it ... pick up my new sisfurs!  Even though they are not tabbies, they are beautiful and sweet and pawsome, all rolled up into one!  Their names are Gracie (how's THAT for a great name?) and Zoe, and they are house panther sisters who have been waiting for a new home for three whole years.  That's a long time, but now their wait is over, and they have come to live with us!  I'm sure that my Angel brofur Sammy guided them to us.  I have met them through the baby gates set up in the door to their room (which used to be MY room when Mommy and Daddy first adoperated me).  Zoe, Gracie and I are all cautious, but we didn't hiss or growl or anything.  I think I am going to like having sisfurs!  Here are their pictures,  Aren't they pretty?

Gracie
Zoe
So that all made for a pretty exciting start to the weekend, wouldn't you say?  I hope you all had a good weekend, too!

Hugs and headbonks,

Moosey

Bestest Sisfur

When the Girl went to Collich, the mom replaced her with a meezer!  The mom always said she would!  Since she adopted Mica Minnie Moo to keep me company and so I'd have a playmate, she is my very own pet kitty!  And you know how folks are about their pets.  MMM and I are very close.

One morning the mom woke to find us enjoying a sun puddle:

We are sisfurs and bestest friends!
