Father's Day & International Box Day

 I don't have a dad and my mommy's dad died on June 19th, 1991 so I never got to meet him. He was the family photographer so no pictures of him.  I do however love, love, love boxes.  Here is a cute pic of me in a box.  Love, Bunty

Father's Day

 Where would I be without my Dad................he's the "rock" of the family.    When he and Mom adopted me, he told me he'd always be there for me - as would my Mom - and they have.    I'd spent almost a year on my own until taken to the shelter and I really did NOT want to be alone again.   I feel secure and loved.

Thanks Dad for being my buddy, my pal, and most of all my Dad.........

Father's Day and International Box Day

Our Daddy is an Angel now and we miss him a lot.  Noelle never got to meet him so there are no photos of her with him.  This is one of my favorites of me with my Daddy.  He never wanted to disturb me when I was sleeping so would carefully pick me up if I was in his chair.  I sure miss him a lot.

Sometimes you have to share a box, but that doesn't make it less fun!  Can you see Noelle's tailio?  Mom calls her the Girl With A Curl since she likes to hold her tail up high with a curl at the end!

 Little sisfurs can be annoying but I am still THANKFUL for Noelle.  She's a good pal!

 Oh let me count the ways (in which I am thankful!).    Seriously though I think about how thankful I am all the time but especially on Thursdays.......I have a blogging friend who has a "THANKFUL THURSDAY" blog hop and all of us get to express our "thankfuls".    

I always include in my list:

Being thankful I was adopted by my parents from the shelter

Being thankful I have a house, big yard I'm allowed to explore, lots of toys and plenty of food

Being thankful for so many wonderful friends....like my friends here at the TCC!

This is me - two days after I came to live here - I think I look VERY thankful in this photo - happy to feel safe and truly AT HOME.

Hug Time!!

 Did you know that it's HUG YOUR CAT day?   Well it is.    We hate to re-run these photos but they are demonstrating that my Mom and Dad DO know how to hug me even though I am a squirm type of cat who does NOT like to be hugged!    Yes I know - it's not fair that I'm so adorable yet won't allow hugging but of course Mom and Dad do SNEAK hugs from time to time......at great peril I might add!

I did allow Mom to hug me - this is just to show you all that I was HUGE when I was 11 months old - that's when Mom and Dad adopted me from the shelter......I was a big boy then AND now!   Mom grabbed me and held me before I had a chance to protest!

Poor Dad - had a heck of a time corraling me as I always wanted to be on the go - this was me in my first harness (I quickly outgrew all four of the harnesses they got me!) and it was as close to a hug as he could get.   

But that does NOT mean that I don't love my Mom and Dad.   Hugging is swell but I show them every day that I love them......and they show me the same!!!

HAPPY HUG YOUR CAT DAY - and I hope all the rest of your Tabby Cat Club kitties cooperate with hugs better than I do !

Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of the Summer in most places.  Here in Florida, we have had Summer for a while already but we'll celebrate anyway!
