TockTober @ TCC

HiYa everyone. Just wanted to give every one a paw's up on an event that I will host later this month in honor of my late, grate brofur Derby.

Some years ago his NOMS furiends, the buns Fiona and Lando, started this and well it just stuck. So now we always have TockTober.

For those of you who might be new, this means that during the month you can post pics of your backside! Yep, we do expect to see the south end of a cat going north! So you can get ready to post your pics.

I will be hosting an event here on October 20, which was Derby's purrthday. But feel free to borrow the badges for your own blog and post pics there too!

 Just so you know, the top badge has Derby's tocks, the bottom one is my bottom!

So make plans to come by on the 20th. If you post pics, please let me know at my blog, Just Ducky, so I can come over to check them out. Then also feel free to post here on the 20th.

 Well, mum usually doesn't bring flowers home, cuz we thinks they are toys. I like to mess with them a little bit.

 But Derby took messing with flowers to a whole new level.

He really is the host with the most Miss Fitz, and what an event to show off your fine furry Tocks. Primo Tocks if I may be so Bold!

Derby's Gotcha Day Story

My official Gotcha Day was May 7, 2005. But mum and I had met on April 26th, after I had been in the shelter for 10 days. Mum just came through to check us out, ask questions of the shelter staff etc. Then she picked up an adoption application and left.

Then on May 6th, she came back in. Played with another cat for a bit, then I got taken from my little apartment into the play room. Well I sold myself! Meowed hello, played with her and just made myself so adorable, she couldn't resist me.

After the one day waiting period, she picked me up for good on May 7th and I took over the place. Loved the space, the windows, lots of places to explore.
