How We Drive Mom Crazy

 Horus and Spyro:  We try to run outside almost every time Mom opens the screen door.

Spyro:  I like to get up on the door, so I can jump down and out when Mom opens it.

 Spyro, Oja and Rocio:  We like to get up on the computer desk between Mom and the computer monitor.  She has to pay attention to us then, until we feel like moving.

Oja:  You can't really tell, but that's me in the photo.  I like to walk on the keyboard.

 Rocio and Oja:  We like to knock the speakers off the computer desk and watch Mom crawling around under the desk trying to pick them up and get them back on the desk.

Rocio:  I dumped Mom's water over on her desk and it dripped into the keyboard.  Luckily the keyboard survived but some of the keys don't work as well as they used to.

Bambino:  I like to knock books and videos off their shelves.

All:  We all know which food bowls are ours, but we keep switching around which ones we want to eat out of, so Mom never knows if all of us got some Stinky Goodness and L-lysine.

Horus:  I like to annoy Rocio and make him hiss loudly.  We haven't gotten into a real fight yet, but it makes Mom come break it up.

Me? The great Swami? Drive my Mama crazy? Never! I am divinely inspired, and it is my eternal duty to sleep right next to Mama's pillow so she can pet me and I can lick and bite her fingers to make sure she is sleeping well!

How I Drive My Folks Crazy

First I want to thank Oui Oui for hosting this fun event! He sure comes up with some really neat ideas.

Now I will share with you how I drive mostly the mom here crazy with my number one way of doing it. You see she is so afraid that I might accidently get let outside when we have company she is constantly looking to make sure I am safe. Well, I make her work at finding me . . . so much fun . . . when she tries to find me and cannot she will break out the treats and shake the bag, you do see where I am going with this yes? Fun game plus extra treats for me. Here are some of my hiding places . . .

. . . my cat cave aka master bedroom closet . . .

. . . under the bed is always a good place . . . 

. . . what's behind curtain #1? ME!

. . . my little cube . . .

 

. . . sacks are always a good place but be careful not to suffocate yourself . . .

never get in a plastic bag!

. . . do you see me? She didn't. Or did she. Hummm she did take the photo huh?

. . . under the blankie . . . my favorite place because if she doesn't find me I can get some extra zzzzs in.

 

There are more places but I don't want to give away all of my secrets so if she sees this post she will know where to find me.

Driving My Mom Crazy

I'll start with my favoritest thing to do, and from years of practice I am really good at it.  I've always enjoyed the mom's tears of frustration when I refuse to eat something I ate the day before.  Everyone in the store must think the mom is a madwoman, muttering as she looks at one food, then another, trying to out guess me.  Guess what!  She hasn't yet!

Sorry, mom, better luck next time!

What a shame, you even had them shipped in.

** Sigh **

Still no go, but the box is cool!

At least you tried again, and didn't give up.

I try to help her when she's on the computer, but she complains nonstop!

You would think she'd be happy when I dust the keyboard,

since she never does it.

She tucked my tail under the laptop,

so she could "get some work done".

Body parts seem to be a problem for her too!

Speaking of problems, lack of sleep appears to be a big one!  The night time rules are endless!  No picking your toes in bed, no bomitting in bed, no loud licking at night, it goes on and on . . .

Sorry, I have no idea who could have woken you again scratching boxes.

My paws never moved!

Honest.

Playing with strings in the dark,

and even staring are problematical.

I just try to keep the mom busy doing things she likes to do,

like using the scary sucky monster.

And mollify her when I can by trying to look cute.

Socks Driving My Parents Crazy

Well Mommy missed some purrfect photo ops but she was rather irritated so didn't think of it until after the fact. See I am suppose to eat only y/d food to control my hyperthyroidism. Well I don't much like it so I marched in the utility room straight passed Tuiren & Fenris (our doggies) and made this pawesome leap up on the washer and dryer and then leaped to the shelf above them to eat the DOG FOOD!!!!!!! she had put up because Tuiren and Fenris didn't eat it. I was gobbling it down like there was no tomorrow. But Mom says at least she knows I am feeling better because it has been a long time since I have made a jump like that.

I have made Dad Crazy right from the Start. You see I was a foster. and...

So once I was out of my box Dad took me to Adoption Events. I laid there like a lump. People asked if I was sick. Dad even took You Tube videos of me to show that I was full of life. Meow!

Driving the Mom or Dad nuts by Raz

Today's event is Driving the Mom or Dad Nuts and is hosted by Oui Oui.

Well, it's not very hard to drive either one of them nuts since I think they're pretty close to it already!!!

One thing I really love to do to Daddy is to take his spot when he gets up.  If he gets out of bed, I'm in his spot right away.  If he gets out of his computer chair, he finds me in it when he comes back.  He always hates to pick me up because I'm usually snoozing....sort of like this.....

Dad tries to pick me up without disturbing me and put me somewhere comfy to finish my nap.....

One of the things I do to drive Mom even more  Nuts is to bring my toys on the bed in the middle of the night and reach out to her to play.  My favorites are Mr. Snakey and the fortune cookie.  I will throw them up in the air and run after them if she doesn't play.   She thinks it's cute.....see I told you she's nuts!!

I make both Mom and Dad nuts when I play with the turbo track in the middle of the night.  Because we have all tile, the turbo track makes lots of cool noise!!  What fun!!
