Today we're celebrating all things Mexican - food, drinks, fun....

Have a seat and enjoy some of this wonderful food we have prepared for you all....

Grab a sombrero if you didn't bring one and stay in the shade!



HOT - HOT - HOT !

We have tacos of all kinds....

Platters with enchiladas, rice, and refried beans.....

Quesadillas!

Hot tamales!

Shrimp Diablo (ai yi yi....HOT)

And for dessert......homemade flan.......

You'll need something COOL to drink with your HOT meal, so why not try a meowgarita, a Mexican soft drink or something else delightfully cool and delish???

If you're feeling lively (and want a little exercise after eating all this yummy food), why not get up and do a little Mexican Hat Dance???????

Our official Tabby Cat Club band will play some appropriate tunes for us....

OR, if you want to take out your frustrations of the day, WHACK a piñata????

Make sure before you leave the party to take a little souvenir of our Cinco de Mayo party - we have a little mini-piñata for each of you as a remembrance of our Tabby Cat Club Cinco de Mayo day!

Ready to Party

We made a card for all our friends to enjoy. Scylla wanted to use an old picture from a party she and Socks went to a long time ago. They had a lot of fun, and she likes remembering when he was alive. We all still miss him a lot.

I took a selfie and turned the background black and white to show off my colorful furs.

Oh Boy! There are just so many things to Celebrate!

This week alone there was Hug Your Cat Day! Star Wars Day and today I am celebrating Cinco de Mayo with my Tabby Cat Club furrends!!

First, I have Queen Penelope's Meowgrita recipe made with the BEST nip!

 

And the Tabby Cat Club has the BEST fish tacos EVER!!!

This grumpy photo of Sawyer was taken shortly after he joined our family. He does not like to be held and will tolerate it for only about 20 seconds.

I have no  photos of either Dad Tom or me hugging Cooper Murphy. It just isn't his thing. And at his weight, I can barely lift him.

We now have three of them.

Now this is a day I can truly ENJOY to the max........hugging is something I'm always up for.  Let the hugging and lap naps begin.......

 

I'm all grown up in this photo with my Mom but the next two photos are of me right after I came to live here with my Mom and Dad after they adopted me - I was 11 months old when I found my FOREVER and learned all about hugging!

I wasn't really USED to being held but I was learning that hugs are pretty nice!

My Dad was happy to do some hugging with me too.....

The day isn't over, at least not quite yet. I am a subtle tabby in coloration, so not as stark as some, but, I am a tabby and proud of it.

WHO WANTS CAKE?

Cooper and I asked our big brother Mau if he would make a cake for us in his Cat Scouts Bake Shop, and he did. We sure hope you all enjoy. And yes, Teddy, it does have some nip in it. 

National Tabby Cat Day

MeOW Hey everypawdy, it's me, Deztinee. Kittens, me's been gone fur a while, but hopefully, mommy can help me more this year. Today's big celebration is in honor of all those special kitties with an M on their furhead and stripes on their bodies...the Tabby Cat!!! 'Nuffin and nokitty ever repurrsented as well as sis Lexi, but me's gonna try. 

Ya' know, sissy never once made fun of me's broken M or pointed eyes and ears. And, neither did any other gawjus tabby here at the club. That's one of the pawsum things 'bout tabbies, they're laid back, loyal and luvvin'. Tabbies really know how to enjoy life and luv with all their bein'. Mommy says that describes me to a tee...ummm to an M. MOL 

Anyways, me just wanted to paw in and meow a Happy National Tabby Cat Day to all. Angel Lexi wanted me to share a foto of her too and to remind you all to give your kitties, stripes or no, a big hug every day. We wish you all a purrfectly pawsum week.
