My family says the look on my face here reminds them of "The Most Interesting Man in the World" character in the Dos Equis beer commercials. MOL! If it really WAS me in those commercials, my signature line would be:

"I don't often take selfies, but when I do, it's with my Tabby Cat Club pals. Stay tabby, my friends."

Me, My Selfie, and I

Hi All ! Well what self-respecting cat doesn't like to make something "all about me" ? None that I know of.....so that's why a "Selfie" day is such a great idea. We like to be center stage - we like our humans to look at us and say "oh so cute" and get a close-up.....or even better if we have our OWN cameras and take our OWN photos up close and purrrsonal!

I took this one myself - I needed it for my profile photo on the kitty cat dating sites (oops - I forgot that someone might see this and tell my Mom....or even worse, my girlcatfriend!).....but seriously, in honor of "Selfie" day....may I present.............ME!

Thank you Gracie for being the hostess for the TCC's "Selfie" day........a day when it's truly all about US!

Me-Ommmmmm, Me-Ommmmmm my pawesome TabbyCats! I am thinking of coming out of my very extensive yoga retreat soon. I miss all my kitty furriends, and all the fun of the TCC! Here are a couple of Selfies I took while practicing my infinite yoga during my retreat:

Today's event is hosted by Gracie and it's post your Selfie. Selfies are pictures that you take of yourself....you've seen them EVERYWHERE!

Mom has an app on the iPad called Cat Selfies. It's a red dot that runs all over the iPad screen. The idea is that the red dot will intrigue you enough to make you hit the screen....and take a selfie.

In THEORY that's a great idea. The reality is that Mom spent a ton of time trying to encourage me to hit the screen. We have a lot of pictures of our ceiling fans now if you'd like to see them. Yeah Mom...NOT.

I finally DID hit the screen, and this is the masterpiece shot I got......

What can I say, I'm a CAT not a Photographer Mom!!

Kizzie: Here I am with dad - a special cuddle for "Hug your Cat Day". Only thing is, I don't think I was too pleased to be hugged or photographed at that moment, hence the rather sulky look on my face.

Dad: I'd just picked you up and we were getting on just fine, and then mum had to get the camera out and ask us to pose for 'Hug Your Cat Day'.

Put Me Down!

Today I’m being told is Hug Your Cat Day. Not being the sentimental type, I was gonna let this day pass without recognition. I’m sure most of you crave hugs and affection. I can take or leave it. The one exception is Pop. I let Pop hold me and hug me if I’m in the mood. Anyone know the date of Hurt Your Human Day?

Hug Me - I'm YOURS!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am BIG on hugs......I sign my emails with a hug, I close every day's blog with a hug - I am a HUGGER! I've always been one but I also appreciate RECEIVING hugs..........as evidenced by this old photo of me and my Mom when I was a baby, and the next photo of us with me all grown up.

Hugs = LOVE......so I encourage every cat, everywhere to enjoy all the special hugs he or she will be receiving on this day of HUGS.........oh, and even if you're NOT a cat, I think everyone deserves a hug so here's one from me for all of you!
