Little Boxes
The headline is right. This certainly is a little box. Happy International Box Day everybuddy!
I used to sit in boxes all the time but not so much anymore. I associate boxes with the flashy box and that’s not a good thing.
On the other hand, this box is big enough to make a fort.
Thanks to the TCC and Sammy for hosting this event. I look forward to seeing everybuddies’ Box Day pics. The above pics have been Photoshopped to death. For some unedited fotos, come visit my International Box Day Foto Frenzy.

Feliz Cinco de Mayo
Happy Cinco de Mayo! I’ll be dj’ing at #Chilipawty on Twitter at 3 pm this afternoon playing lots of fiesta faves. I’m playing the Mexican Hat Dance just for Sammy since he’s graciously hosting this TCC pawty.
Every Cinco de Mayo, I share some jokes* with you and today is no exception.
Q: What’s a Mexican’s favorite sport?
A: Cross country.
Q: What do you call a completely shaven Mexican?
A: A smooth criminal.
Q: What do you call a Mexican driving a BMW?
A: Grand Theft Auto.

| I am HHGutt and I do not approve of these jokes! |
In the meantime, head on over to Stunning Keisha to read a very funny Cinco de Mayo story. There’s more jokes to entertain you.

Get Your Jig On With CK
It’s a tradition on my blog StunningKeisha.com that I tell
Q: Why can't you borrow money from a leprechaun?
A: Because they're always a little short.
Q: Why don't you iron four-leaf clovers?
Q: Why don't you iron four-leaf clovers?
A: Because you don’t want to press your luck.
Q: Why does it take four Irishmen to change a lightbulb?
Q: Why does it take four Irishmen to change a lightbulb?
A: One to change the bulb. Four to remark about how grand the old bulb was.
Q: What's little and green and stuck to your bumper?
Q: What's little and green and stuck to your bumper?
A: A leprechaun who didn't look both ways.
and finally,
Q: Why did St. Patrick drive all the snakes out of Ireland?
and finally,
Q: Why did St. Patrick drive all the snakes out of Ireland?
A: Because he couldn't afford plane fare.
Now that I’ve tickled your funny bone, are you ready to get your jig on? Cathy O’Keisha has some authentic Irish music for your listening pleasure. One two three jig!
Come join the pawty at stunningkeisha.com for more leprechaun jokes and stunning Irish images. Everybuddy gets complimentary CK Irish Cream Whiskey—heavy on the cream.

The Cat in the Hat Bites Back
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss. Unfortunately for this little ghetto kitteh, TW’s only Dr. Seuss memory is R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe reciting Green Eggs and Ham during one of their tours. #senile
I tried my hand at a little Dr. Seuss-style poetry for this year’s post. In the image below, The Cat in the Hat is reading from my poem. Pretty neat, huh. To read the entire poem, visit www.stunningkeisha.com.

Happy Australia Day
Sorry I’m so late. In a year called 2012, my furrends and I pawtied in Australia. Here’s a pic of the fun we had. I’m right in the middle and you can see Mario and Pumpkin Puddy. We all had a wonderful time raising money to save the bilbys. They’re such cute little guys.
Much like this pawty, there were hunnerts of us in attendance. You’ll have to biggify this pic to see me on the far right. There were cats, dogs, ducks and bunnies in attendance.
Thanks to Dinnermintz and Pickles for welcoming me back to sunny Australia. *Raises glass of Fosters*

It’s Cold Outside!
Now that the temps are in the teens and the wind chill in the minus digits, I’m glad I’m an indoor cat. Who am I kidding? I’m always glad to be an indoor kitteh and wish all other cats were too.
Wake me when it’s Spring.
I think the peeps keep the condo cool but they must have kept the old house really cold. Look at Faith all bundled up! She was a real tabby girl. Can you believe TW crocheted that blankie? She never made me a blankie like that.
And look at Nicky in the old house. Did they even have heat?
I think I’m lucky to be here in the draft-free condo even if it is only 66F.
Visit me for more Stunning Keisha humor and fotos.

Does This Pumpkin Make My Butt Look Big?

Captain Tessa Rose in Da House!
Call me Tessa Rose or better still Captain Tessa Rose. It's a name that matches with my adventurous personality. Legend has it I usually show no quarter if betrayed by a friend and have a short temper. Yes, I can be sweet when I want but might just blow a fuse. I take many risks and don't care about never making it back but I better not be late for a meal.

Thar's more scurvy pirate a ruckas at www.stunningkeisha.com.
* Bung hole—Victuals on a ship were stored in wooden casks. The stopper in the barrel is called the bung, and the hole is called the bung hole. (Admit it: you thought I cursed at her. HAH!)

Come on Get Happy For PAWS
Happy Gotcha Day to Oui Oui and Mica Minnie Moo and Happy Birthday to The Woman. I don’t usually post on Sundays but I wanted to take part in this Post-A-Thon to benefit PAWS. I wish when I was a shelter cat, they would have had a Catification Lounge so I’m all for seeing to it that the next generation of shelter cats have one.
I love interactive play so I thought I’d share this video with you today. You can watch it on YouTube too. Even though I have more than 10 wand toys—every make and model that’s out there—I prefer to play with one of those coated elastic strings or a straw. Go figure. Once a ghetto cat always a ghetto cat.
I’ve been overly blessed since I started blogging in that I’ve made wonderful furrends and found out about all the latest toys (and noms), some of which I’ve been able to win or coerce the company to send a sample for review. Many of these toys will wind up being donated to the A Call 4 Paws Cat Sanctuary in Jonestown, PA, so those cats will be able to enjoy them.
I also want to send birthday wishes to TW, my partner in crime, and tell her I lu– lu– lu– her. What I mean is I kinda like her.
For more fun and game, go to www.stunningkeisha.com.

Put Me Down!
Today I’m being told is Hug Your Cat Day. Not being the sentimental type, I was gonna let this day pass without recognition. I’m sure most of you crave hugs and affection. I can take or leave it. The one exception is Pop. I let Pop hold me and hug me if I’m in the mood. Anyone know the date of Hurt Your Human Day?
There are more sappy photos at www.stunningkeisha.com.

ZOOMMM!!
Am I late? I got my ‘stang and I’m ready to burn up the road! Anyone know how to drive stick? This baby is souped up like you wouldn’t believe. I’ll bet it goes a thousand mph! Hate to eat and run but I gotta ZOOOMMM!!!
I’m not a NASCAR type of cat even though they’re having Formula One racing in my little town this summer. Thanx to Raz, Sammy and Gracie for hosting this party.

Straw Hat Stylin'
Today is Straw Hat Day across the Blogosphere. Over the past year, I’ve modeled many straw hats: baseball hats, sombreros, Easter bonnets—who could forget those atrocious Easter bonnets!—but TW tells me I can’t use them. She wants me to model yet another straw hat. Sigh! The things I’ll do for my Fans cos you know it’s all about the Fans. I hope you guys appreciate it.
Ta-daaaaaaa! My new bling-encrusted red straw hat. It’s in focus even if I’m NOT! Sigh.

HHGutt sez Happy Cinco de Mayo
The holiday of Cinco De Mayo, The 5th of May, commemorates the victory of the Mexican militia over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862. It is primarily a regional holiday celebrated in the Mexican state capital city of Puebla and throughout the state of Puebla, with some limited recognition in other parts of Mexico, and especially in U.S. cities with a significant Mexican population. It is not, as many people think, Mexico's Independence Day, which is actually September 16. (Read more at Mexonline.com)
For more Mexican festivities and music, go to www.stunningkeisha.com.
Here’s a tune that you might want to baila la rumba to.
