Snoozing on Tabby Cats Day ~ATCAD

Socks is celebrating National Tabby Cats day by sleeping.

Sorry we haven't had much of a chance to hang out with you, but the Mom has several catastrophes (unexpected bathroom remodel) to handle, and projects to take care of related to the catastrophes.

We hope to show you what has been taking up all our time soon. Now we are all going to join Socks on the bed and celebrate by sleeping.

Well it feels so strange to be here without sis Lexi. When we furst joined da Tabby Cat Club, it was gonna be just sissy. You know her markings were purrfect, and me's stripes not so much. Me's M is broken so we didn't think me kuld join. But alas, we both became purroud members of da Tabby Cat Club. So me's here to carry on da purroud tabby pattern on me's lynx point. And today me's showin' off me's inner lion.

Hi everybody!

Mr. Raz, I didn’t want you to feel all lonely on Lion Day.  And thank you, Gracie!  This is a great way to celebrate Spring.

I practiced till I got my Lion Roar just purrfect.  I hope you guys like my picture.  I sure had fun making it.

Then its right back to my sweet self…in my best Lion pose.  That was quite a roar, huh, guys?  Nearly scared myself!

Grrrrr.....I'm a Lion!

I can be fierce when I want to be...........just ask Mom (or even better - ask her ankles which have scars from my ferocity!).   Don't we ALL have moments when we let our inner lion out?   After all, we ARE related to those BIG GUYS.

Oh yes.......I can see it all now - me lying in the African Savannah.......feeling the breeze in my mane, keeping an eye on the zebras and wildebeasts........although maybe I'd have a problem because I'm not as FAST as I used to be!

OR - maybe I could give that MGM lion a run for his money and take over his spot of fame?

 

On the other hand - I quite like being a mini-lion.......maybe being fierce is all in the mind anyway!!!
